I can honestly not say enough amazing things about Belly to Cradle/Bloomwell Birth Center or their…read morefabulous staff. From our first time meeting them they have been nothing but exceptional! They walked through a miscarriage with us then when we got pregnant again they were with us every step of the way. They allowed my 9 and 5 year old to take part in exams, finding their brother's heartbeat and measurements. They were there for us during preterm labor. Then when birth finally came i couldn't have been happier with the birth! After 2 unmediated hospital births I finally got my out of hospital water birth with the best ladies!! My 5 year old asks when we will go back and tells me often that if we have another baby we have to have it with Amber and Lindsay! I couldn't agree more.

The center is so cozy and homey, yet everything a mom might need is at hand (without the sterile feeling of a hospital). I've had 6 homebirths, so my expectation was high when our daughter and her hubby started looking for a midwife. When we moved here from PA, I was worried we wouldn't find a midwife as experienced as the one we had for our babies. Thankfully, we found Belly to Cradle. From the first appointment to the birth, I was so impressed with Amber and Lindsay. Their knowledge and experience are top-notch. (I asked some pretty tough questions and nothing threw them.) Their confidence is contagious- when they walk into the room you sigh with relief (aaahh, it's all going to be fine!). Their love for mamas and their babies is evident in their care. Would I recommend them? Absolutely. If I were still young enough to have another baby, I would have my baby here!

I started seeing a chiropractor the first time I injured my knee ( late 2020, more early 2021)…read more Late Early/mid 2022 is when I first met Dr Katie, who is literally amazing, at Spinelife. Not long after I met her, she moved to Growing Green. She is easily the best chiropractor I've had! I literally hate when chiropractors crack my neck, but I have no issue when she does it. She's never made my situation worse, unlike some. I tend to get small injuries really easily, but since I've see her I haven't had that issue. Not to mention, she truly goes above and beyond with patient care. After getting my sports physical done with her, I was telling her about some of my physical, medical, and mental health stuff. She recommended dietary changes, a skin care, makeup brand, etc. And recommended I schedule a functional medicine appointment. I scheduled my functional medicine appointment with Dr Larissa, and she's also literally amazing. She took the time to explain everything she though was going on, which explained soooooo much, and was able to give me forms of vitamins/supplements in non-pill forms! (I strongly dislike pills lol). She is so nice and literally has the best laugh. I look forward to continuing to pursue the functional medicine with her :) I love how every time I go in, whoever's at the desk recognizes me! It's the best feeling. Plus, they're all so sweet, always ask how I'm doing and make sure I don't need anything before I leave after my appointment Growing Green itself has the best environment in general. It has such a cozy, homey feeling, and it's super cute! Overall 100/10 would recommend! :)

I would have given no stars if that was a choice. Oh, I'll be back here to inform you more about…read morethe situation later for I am just a little busy with my fathers condition and the lack of knowledge by the so called "doctors" here. Oh, and I'll have photos and everything! If you can help it, please, take your loved one elsewhere like Mobile Imfirmary. These people have NO idea what they are doing.

Ok, let me just say this has become one of the BEST ER's Mobile, AL has to offer. I know Springhill…read morehas had its rough moments, but honestly--so have all hospitals in this town. What matters is not the fall, but the comeback. And right now, Springhill ER is the only place I want to be if I ever face another emergency like I did last night. Quick backstory: I've spent the past 7 weeks with a family member at another local hospital. Picture this--labs "lost," vile nurses, zero leadership, a doctor committing medical fraud with no accountability, and staff snickering about patients in the hallway. Sure, a handful of great nurses and a solid case management team exist there, but the system is broken. I even caught something there and haven't shaken it since. So yeah, I've seen the worst. Fast-forward to last night. My O2 dropped to 86 and I could barely breathe. I tried another ER first--big mistake. The nurse made me feel worse than I already did. Something in me said, "Go to Springhill." Thank God I listened. Here's where the underdog story starts. Spoiler: Springhill wins. Check-in was polite, quick, and staff weren't glued to their phones like I've seen elsewhere. Triage was thorough and respectful. They even noticed I was struggling for air and handled me with compassion. That's already a win in my book. The doctor? Hands down one of the top ER docs in Mobile--knowledgeable, compassionate, and explained everything like a walking FAQ. He hit that rare balance of confidence and humanity. That's exactly who you want when you're scared and sick. And the nurses? Efficient heroes. I've passed out before from fear of IVs, but they did my blood draw and IV in one seamless step. I kept asking when they'd start, and the nurse just smiled and said, "Honey, you're done." That's process improvement AND patient care rolled into one. This whole ER process--streamlined, compassionate, efficient--is exactly what saves lives and precious time. Every second counts in medicine, and Springhill clearly gets that. Even the CT tech brought humor into the room, explaining how the procedure had improved over the years. Instead of panic, I left feeling smarter and calmer. But the moment that sealed the deal wasn't about me. A patient nearby was crying out to God in pain. I prayed for her quietly, but then I heard her nurse speaking to her with so much compassion that within minutes, that woman went from begging for relief to thanking God. That's the kind of care you can't fake. Compassion is the real medicine. What I also love is that you can tell Springhill has actually listened to patient experiences and made changes. They've identified where the process was broken, fixed it, and raised the bar for care. That willingness to hear people and adapt makes all the difference. I'm still on the road to recovery, but Springhill gave me both the meds and the hope I needed. In healthcare, seconds and small acts of kindness save lives. If they keep this up, Springhill won't just be an underdog comeback--they'll be the Nick Saban of ERs. Not every visit will be perfect, but they're on the right path. Mobile needs this kind of champion. Happy health and life

It's supposed to be a family care center and she never asked for my husband's name and it didn't seem like she really knew mine. It felt very impersonal as well as racist toward my husband. I unfortunately had a miscarriage so my experience with them only lasted about three months. This was my first pregnancy and I really didn't know what to expect. I would not recommend paying the 6-7k in advance as no matter what they will keep half of it. It doesn't matter if you miscarry and only go to two appointments they kept $3,700 out of the $6,400 we paid. Tina told me that I had hypothyroidism without getting the proper labs done. And then never told me that she was wrong. I began spotting the day I had an appointment but I knew they kept the phone on so I texted asking if there was anything I should do or worry about and the receptionist Alexus answered saying Tina was in a consult but would respond when she was done. Well an hour and a half later I show up to my appointment and she hadn't even mentioned it to Tina. They're too worried about getting more people and money in than the people that they are already taking care of. That appointment I was 12 weeks and they should have been able to see my baby with the ultrasound but Tina couldn't even find my baby nor do the heartbeat. Two days after the miscarriage I let them know and wanted to know the refund process as we had ER bills to take care of to which they texted back "Once care is completed for a pregnancy, your account will be reconciled and a refund will be given. Don't stress about that. Most women are pregnant again in just a couple of months and we will also throw in something for you then as well " which to me is extremely rude and unfeeling as I just lost my child. I feel obligated to tell other people about this place as it is not a safe place to give birth. I cannot recommend it in anyway based on my experience.
