I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and given paperwork to complete. The waiting room is very neat and comfortable. Not too cold. I was called back to the examining room right on time. Dr. Stone was extremely thorough and informative. Explaining the procedure every step of the way... he listened carefully to my recounting of my fall and wrist surgery. Time for an update! I have been under continuous care from Dr. Silva and the staff at Palm beach Neurology since my first visit 4 years ago to address chronic migraines. Dr. DaSilva specializes in migraine treatment. Dr. Silva has led me through so many different types of treatments, literally trying almost every medication available, tirelessly helping me through cycles of seeing what did and didn't work, different combinations, etc. With his care and assistance, we have finally figure out something that works, and now I go in every 3 months to receive injections, a very quick procedure which is always pleasant due to Dr. DaSilva's upbeat, optimistic demeanor and manner. Chatting with him during the injections is a great distraction from the procedure itself! Thanks to the efficient, friendly front desk staff who get me in and out so quickly. Thanks for showing the food network in the waiting room tvs, where there is usually ample space for everyone to sit. The chairs are comfortable, old-school style, with little tables placed here and there to put your stuff down. The office building is fairly easy to find, with a parking lot that has never been completely full any time I have visited. read more

The staff behavior is unacceptable. Someone on the staff canceled an appointment that I waited 3 months for. They did not have decency while was at the appointed time to f is this situation. Called to try to speak to an office manager. All they gave is voicemail. read more

Ok Normally I don't like to trash a Doctor but in this review I can't because his staff is horrible. I was referred to this group by My orthopedic dr for weakness on one side. I called on a Wednesday AM and had to leave my name for the Secretary to call myself back. Thursday 11 am didn't hear back and recalled after 30 minutes on hold was transferred and had to leave a message. Friday same results no call back. Try and leave a 3rd message and guess what here I sit on a Sunday writing this review and never heard from the Practice. read more

I do not trust Dr. Butera. I was referred by my PCP who suspected I had Multiple Sclerosis. Dr Butera did an MRI, and a brief, half hearted physical exam. He told me I don't have MS, and despite my being a fit Gymnastics coach, he offered the suggestion that my severe fatigue (and myriad of other symptoms) was simply due to having 6 children. He also asked "have you seen a psychiatrist" when he couldn't determine the cause of my issues. I left in tears. After suffering 2 more years, and avoiding Drs for fear of further mistreatment, I diagnosed MYSELF with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), and even the specific type (hyperadrenergic), and found a neurologist knowledgeable of this type of dysautonomia (it's a dysregulation of the autonomic nervous system) which wreaks havoc on the entire body. It's associated another illness I correctly diagnosed myself with - Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which causes (among many other things) genetically loose ligaments, and is the cause for my constant muscle pain (I can no longer coach). Both the neurology dept and neck and spine dept at Cleveland Clinic in Weston, FL was spectacular, and has the proper equipment and experience to diagnose even lesser-known illnesses like mine. I highly recommend them. Please remember, YOU know your body best. You are your best advocate. Never stop searching for answers until you get them. If a Dr won't help, remember he works for you, and you can FIRE him! read more

Just wow , Since being disabled in 2014 I've dealt with Neuros and Neuro spine surgeons , constantly since , NOT ONCE has a " office manager " ever argued with me about the appts time and dates being my responsibility to make , Stone , Good neurologist, OFFICE , consistently horrible, whether it's calling in your medicine, with 7 days notice 3 days notice 1 day notice , so I've come to the conclusion it's a game for there office to put you through the ringer , so if you appreciate piece of mind and people who DONT MIND TO DO THERE JOBS. Find a different office , Maria arguing with me about " ME " canceling a appointment is A Lie, Dr offices call you remind you of appts , NOT argue when you call in for your medicine and tell you " You haven't been here in 4 months " so ,,,, who's fault is that ? I call every month and barely got my medicine on time , last 4 months the dr on call the day after my medicine is sappose to be filled , they don't take down your current information nor care to listen , they just clearly hate there jobs . read more
