It's been weeks since my Shi Tzu was groomed here. We recently moved to the area and have been trying to find a descents groomer for our little boy. The first one I won't mention because you could see that they tried but not very professional. This one though left his tail ragged and very choppy on the body. Instead of combing out his ear hair knots they just cut clumps of hair off. The worst is they cut off his 2 inch eye lashes. This groomer should be drawn and quartered!!! The once was enough!!! I had an appointment to bring my cat in for a nail trim and sanitary cut. Our first appointment went fine but found out after the fact that they don't take credit cards so I had to Zelle the $. The place could use a good cleaning but the owner and her son were nice so I gave it the benefit of the doubt as it was late in the afternoon and figured they must have had a busy day. When making this appointment I found it strange that I had to basically "prove" that I was a client before they would even book the appointment. This appointment was two weeks out but ok? . We arrived at the appointment today 20 min early only to find out they were CLOSED!!!! I didn't receive any type of communication that they were cancelling our appointment- so unprofessional. I will never go there again and will not recommend them. If anyone has ever had to corral a cat that hates crates and travel you'll understand why I'm so angry.... read more

I am new to the city and wasn't sure where to get my baby taken care of. They answered phone immediately and took him the next day. It appears to be a family run business and they could not have been nicer to my dog. Usually he is afraid And won't go in, the moment we walked in I guess he knew they were kind loving people because he ran right in the back with kisses for everyone. They called me in less than an hour and he was done. He was a joyful shiny clean puppy with the cutest bow around his neck. They gave him treats and tons of love. Will not use again. My dog was not matted in any way. She is brushed every day sometime twice per day. Any instructions I gave groomer were total ignored. Cut way too short. Ears not as I requested does not look like my dog. Also, price I was quoted over the phone was not the price I was charged. Very little personal touch from the groomer. All business. Get her done and out the door. Maybe my expectations are higher than this busy place can provide. No hard feelings. Seems like most of the posted reviews are good and many happy customers. Great place!!! My puppies loved their cuts. They were very professional and polite. One of the best priced places around, I drive farther just because I love this place. They were so nice and easy here! I brought my Shih Tzu in to get his hair cut, and they did a great job on him. They don't crate the awaiting animals which I love; you can tell they really care about the dogs. They were quick, only took about 3 hours and they called me once they were done. Asked that my puppy not be shaved. He had one small Matt behind each ear the size of a pea. I was told he was too matted to groom. He was just groomed 6 weeks ago. And I bathe him regularly. There was no need to completely shave my dog. I just wanted his face trimmed up like a shitz tsu should. This is how he looked when I picked him up. I'm sorry it's not even cut straight. Very Chopped and completely shaved. Note the before and after photo. Not a matted dog....I want to add I was upset as my expectations did not match the results. My baby was treated very well, he was happy as were all of the other puppies in the facility that day. The staff was kind and friendly. This should be and is the most important factor to me. I am posting this because my expectations and miscommunication should not have factored into a review. Thank goodness God showed me the error in my action. Never Never Never speak words before asking God to remove frustration. This shop showed care and love to my puppy. HIS coat will grow back and probably faster then I would like. Shame on me. I will pray the only thing my words will help someone with is communication. read more

Took my dog in for grooming and it was the first time - and LAST time - with this place. I showed pictures of what she looked like groomed, was assured they could do that. Two hours later when I picked her up I was shocked - they didn't groom her. They gave her a buzz cut - just took the electric razor and shaved her - much like barbers do with the boys in the military. I took my Daisy girl in for a trim up and left specific instructions on her cut, especially for her hair on top of her head, (trim do not cut off her hair) and no , she came back with a total buz (shaved) cut all over her body. I am so upset they did this to her, her hair on her head "was" her signature look, I could have purchased a $10 shaver and did this myself. I was very disappointed in the way they groomed my Shorkie. I told them to take 1" off her 3" coat and to leave her beard to preserve her shitsu look. They left her with just 1" on her small body, and cut too much off her beard as well as uneven trim on her nose. She weighed 3/4 pound less than the day I brought her in. I won't be going back. On a positive note, they don't crate your dog if it's well behaved. They are in a pen together with other dogs. read more
