When i call ahead to make sure i can go to the driving range they say oh yeah come on in, it closes at lunch for maintenance. So i drive 45 minutes to get there and get told "oh yeah its closed. we got them to come in earlier so its closed you need to leave"

Palm Cove Golf Course is nestled within many of the communities of Palm City. As a transplanted New Yorker, I first became acquainted with this course because of their women's golf league. Needless to say the first few times I played here I was so happy that I had an extra stash of golf balls in my bag because this course is challenging especially if you have a tendency to slice to the right or left!! That being said, the course is ABSOLUTELY beautiful. Without fail, I am always struck by the landscaping each time I go from hole to hole. Everyone working here, from the golf pros to the bag handlers, to the women working in the restaurant, are not only welcoming but accommodating. Yesterday was my birthday and to my surprise and delight in celebration of my birthday my round was comped. Although I play here fairly regularly, I was blown away by this tremendous act of kindness and generosity. I truly felt valued as a customer! 5 stars all the way!!

After all the years of visiting Stuart and now living in Port St. Lucie, it never once clicked in…read moremy head to come here to play golf. The first time I ever played golf this way, was when Drive Shack opened in West Palm Beach, which was a huge hit. This place has the same concept but on a much smaller scale. Honestly, that's not a bad thing--sometimes simpler is better. It's not chaotic and there aren't a million people everywhere. It almost feels like a secret hangout that hasn't been discovered yet. They also have traditional golf if you prefer to play outdoors and walk the course or take a golf cart. But sitting in the shade on a comfortable couch with a nice fan cooling you down while your own waitress takes your drink and food order sounds a lot better to me. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all, which was perfectly fine with me. Prices seemed pretty typical for places like this--about $40 an hour. I also saw an advertisement for a weekday special: Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 2 PM, you can play all you want for $20. That's a great deal for anyone who doesn't work a traditional 9-to-5 job. I'm not sure if that's going to still be advertised in the summer when kids are out of school, but either way it's a pretty affordable way to kill a few hours. Our waitress was such a peach--super attentive with an amazing, fun attitude. She had such a great personality and really made the experience even better. The only downside is that they don't have liquor, so I'm guessing they don't have a full liquor license ? They do have beer and seltzers, and interestingly they offer sangria and mimosas. My guess is that they're wine-based without any added liquor. They do have a pretty decent food menu with plenty of options. You have a variety of flatbreads sandwiches, salads, and your typical bar food options. Overall, this place was a lot of fun. I took my nephew and we played a bunch of the games they have on the flatscreens. We were on the first floor, and when I asked about sitting on the second floor she mentioned they only open it when they have more servers and it gets busier. I would definitely recommend coming here--but maybe don't tell too many people, because this hidden gem might turn into a total zoo one day. There really isn't anything else like it around here, and I'm glad I finally checked it out.

This place has completely gone downhill because of poor management. Mike and Greg have made…read moreterrible decisions that have destroyed both the restaurant and the customer experience. They laid off a huge portion of the staff without any warning, and it shows. If you're receiving slow service, poor quality, or an overall disappointing experience, this is exactly why. Management does not appear to understand how to run a restaurant or value either their employees or their customers. Instead of creating a place people want to come back to, they've created an environment that feels disorganized and poorly operated. Thinking maybe the golf course would be a better experience, we decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, it was just as disappointing. The bathrooms were infested with wasps, which is completely unacceptable, and to make matters worse, I was harassed by the course "rangers" over riding in a golf cart that I had already paid for. Between the awful management, declining service, unacceptable conditions, and overpriced course, I regret spending my money here. There are plenty of places that actually value their customers. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.

Diane and I enjoy participating in the great events that the club plans for its' members. Everything came off flawlessly. The club collected many toys for underprivileged children. I had a terrific meal! I started off with a nice Coors Light. (They had a cash bar) It went well with my beautiful mixed greens salad with a vinaigrette dressing. That was delicious and was followed by a truly wonderful Chicken Piccata. Wonderful lemony sauce and tasty capers. For dessert, I had a warm brownie with vanilla ice cream and strawberries and mint on the side. I had a terrific time talking with the jovial guests that were seated at our table. It was a fun group of people who made the evening a true pleasure. It was well worth the long drive up to Hobe Sound to have such a festive wonderful holiday afternoon!!

It's a beautiful club house and golf course in a gated community. The club house is very attractive, there's plenty of free parking. I liked that we didn't have to valet our car. The dining room has a great view of the golf course. About ten tables were set up with eight people at each table. Everyone brought a toy for a child. The toys were collected and displayed in the front of the room. For lunch we got a salad, entree with sides, and dessert. Coffee, tea, and lemonade was included. There was a cash bar. Rolls and butter was on the table. When we ran out of rolls our server brought more. For our entrees we had a choice between red snapper or chicken piccata. I ordered the fish. The salad was very fresh. It was mixed greens, hearts of palm, cherry tomatoes, radishes, cranberries, and sliced almonds. The vinaigrette dressing was light and delicious. The only problem was when j I got up to use the restroom. I still had some salad left on my plate. When I got back my salad was gone. I mentioned to our server that I wasn't finished with my salad. I was hoping she'd bring more, but that didn't happen. My fish was served with green beans, carrots, rice, and salsa. It looked good, but as soon as I tasted it I realized it was raw in the middle. I told our server who offered to have it cooked. Biting into the raw fish turned me off so I asked for the chicken piccata instead. I'm not against sushi or other fish that is served raw, but this fish was not edible. Other people at our table that had ordered fish said theirs was good. It didn't take long for my chicken piccata to arrive. It came with green beans, carrots, mashed potatoes, and capers. The chicken was tasty. I enjoyed the dish. For dessert we got chocolate mudslide cake with vanilla ice cream. The cake was dense and delicious. I wasn't a fan of the coffee. It was very weak. I've eaten there before. The food is usually very good. It's a beautiful place to have a drink at the bar or a meal in the dining room. It's also a nice place to have an event. Io
