My Trustee engaged Mr. Ofseyer and then we discovered that he simply didn't understand the Heggsted rule, that it only was applicable to people that died (not our case), and that he simply was trying to show expertise when there was none. To make matters worse, he emailed my other attorney about when they would be back from vacation (several times) and ate up nearly $1000 in these emails, without even looking at the Trusts!! I then got notice that my attorney had left our Family Law case, so Mr. Ofseyer decided to also let us go (even though he was independent and not attached to the case). Extremely non-professional and I would NEVER recommend an attorney to someone who portrayed excellence when in fact their moral compass was so skewed. There are other attorney's out there - do not hire one that values your case, and money, so low on the spectrum. And above all, make sure they have a personality - it's very odd to meet with someone who has none. Other than that, Mr. Ofseyer was brilliant!!! :)
