Richard we purchased approximately $60 worth of products on this particular visit. When we went to check out our cashier person was very impersonal. No smile, no did you find everything, no thank you for shopping with us today, absolutely no recognition of our patronage to that particular store. I later found out that that particular individual was the shift manager. Name was Jonathan. Not sure I'll patronize that store anymore as I do have other options. Very disappointing.

It is true that you will see plenty of stuff that doesn't interest you but isn't that true of any store? These forks buy a lot of overstocks and quite often you'll find a mainstream product that you use at a huge discount! The TRICK for me is to visit once a month for about ten minutes. I blow up and down the aisles one time and almost always walk away with a mainstream product that I use every day for a song. It might be shampoo or soap or maybe a snack item but it's not uncommon for me to pay 20% of normal. For me, it's ten minutes well spent!

It's family run and has been in business for almost 28 years. That should tell you something. I was in need of some new kitchen lighting. I did a very typical thing. I blew down Route 27 and stopped at the two big box stores in quick succession. Then I drove about three more minutes and stopped here. I didn't know it but I saved the best for last! They had amazing vaiety and the owner quickly helped me find exactly what I needed. It was such a pleasure not to spend 20 minutes trying to get some help. The prices were excellent. Today there was one of these guys near a restaurant I was patronizing so I stopped in. I immediately regretted it! 1st Impressions- As soon as I opened the door my brain said "disorganized!" I immediately said to my self the I wasn't going to buy anything there. My 2nd impression was lack of cleanliness. It wasn't filthy by any means, but it wasn't clean either. I walked up and down one aisle and decided enough was enough. Customer Service- I was greeted very pleasantly and genuinely but that wasn't enough to save this place. I had built up a list of about ten tasks and it was time to do something about it. My neighbors all swore this guy walks on water, so I gave him a call. He perused my condo and assured me that everything was doable and should be no problem. He was booked for about ten days, so I had to wait a bit. Once he got going I was hugely impressed. His attention to detail was outstanding. His communication skills with me were spot on. The fit & finish of everything he did was impressive and when he cleaned up everything was immaculate. Note- He lives in North Highlands County and generally works in the Central and North parts of the county. He might be enticed to travel a bit more if the job is large enough. I would go above five stars if I could; he's that good!

Getting decent advice at them is hit and miss at best. That's why I go here. On my latest visit I had some very old paint that I wanted to match. I'm talking fifteen or twenty years old. I brought in the actual old cans for two different gallons. I thought it was so old it would be junk. I was prepared to buy two new quarts if not gallons. These excellent folks studied it, remixed it, figured out and labeled the colors and said to me, "Steven B, don't waste your money! This paint is still good to go and thank you for stopping by again! They could have easily made a sale but instead they did the right thing and that's why I'll keep coming back!
