The Dr was friendly, seemed very knowledgeable and did a great job with the adjustment. Fast forward two years, I still go every other week and though I've never been to any other chiropractor I have no desire to look elsewhere as I am incredibly pleased with Pulver and his staff. He's one of the few doctors I've worked with in my lifetime that is down to earth and that I'm comfortable talking to like a normal person. In addition to that, the office is clean and comfortable and an overall great place to be in. Chiropractors around Grand Haven and Spring Lake are a dime a dozen, and I'm sure most of them are very good, but if you're just starting your search for a chiropractor I think you would be doing yourself an injustice not contacting Pulver first to see how they can help you. He's always willing to do whatever he can to help, even going beyond what most in the health care sector would ever do. After getting a particularly awful migraine, I went to Dr. Doran since most of my headaches are related to my neck being out of alignment. He adjusted me and told me to come back in an hour if I didn't feel better, and he wouldn't even charge me for the second appointment. I was still in pain and so I went back. He told me afterwards that I should call him at home the next day if I was still in pain, and he'd be willing to come in on his day off and see what else he could do. Luckily, I was fine after the 2nd visit, but I was still floored at the offer. He was willing to come in on a day off! I've never experienced that with any other doctor/chiropractor/etc, and I can't even begin to say just how appreciated it was. If you are in the area and need a chiropractor, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Doran! He's a friendly guy and an excellent chiropractor.
