We were out and shooting in no time. It was fun testing my range with the different target distances. Although, I regret not testing my luck with the 70 meter target :( One piece of feedback is to consider having a time limit for shooting the arrows, or at least allow people to shoot another arrow or two if they're finishing well before the others. It was common for us to be waiting a bit before we could grab our arrows. Overall I had a great experience. Also shoutout to Sean for great customer service. My daughter had such a great time she brought me back. The staff is very professional. It brought back fond memories of scout camp. The equipment is very nice. The facility is clean and new. I had them order a new string for my Mathews bow, I waited 6 weeks and paid $187 (could've ordered it online paid $85 and got it in 3 days) and when the string finally came in, it was the wrong size. I knew something was up when I asked if he would put it on for me and he said he was really busy and told me to take it to another shop to put it on. So I took it to another shop, the bowtech there told me it was the wrong size, I took it back to Legion, and he refused to take the return. I've already logged a complaint with Mathews, and the Customer Service rep said they were already under investigation for bad customer service, reselling factory flawed bows for MSRP, and "Losing" parts they had ordered and gotten credit on. My neighbor brought his bow in to have a new D loop put on, the guy was using a blade to cut off the old loop, nicked the string, put the new D loop on the cover the nick. My neighbor noticed the nick when he did it. He said it would be just fine, no big deal. My neighbor went to draw the bow back in the shop, the string snapped, and basically dry fired the bow. Again he refused to make it right. I know this is a big rant but I'm just trying to let everyone know about them, there are other bow shops in Grove and around the area, with Actual pro's that aren't out to rob you. So please keep this in mind if this is your current pro shop.

When you first turn into the drive you'll think you're going to someone's house, which is exactly what this property used to be. Just keep following the drive to the metal building behind the big house - that's where you need to be. You can sign up for a one-time "try archery" class for $5 if you're a complete newbie and just want to give it a try. Ages 8 and up can take the Archery Level 1 class, which is a series of four classes that covers range safety and gives students the chance to shoot with both a compound and a recurve bow. All equipment is provided. Once you complete your first class, you can join the JOAD program - Junior Olympic Archery Development. You can either bring your own equipment or rent from the facility for this program. They also have 3D targets and are working on a walk-through type course for more experienced shooters. If you want to learn about archery, or are already knowledgeable and need a nice place to shoot, this is the place.
