Great gun store, nice shooting range. My only frustration is the cost of the range. At Sturm's in Springdale (out of business), I used to pay less than $11 for a bay and target for an hour of shooting. My last visit to Ozark I spent over $25 for a bay and target. Factor the cost of ammo and a visit to Ozark for an hour is a $50 expense. Too expensive. read more

I didn't buy anything here but stopped in to checkout the selection of hunting & shooting gear. I didn't need anything quickly but looked for some hard to find items. They had a nice selection of pistols & shotguns, bows, Eberlestock packs too. Only negative was the small reloading selection but the staff was both helpful & very knowledgeable. Love this place! I did the gun speed dating class and I was so nervous but it was super fun and educational. All the women were nice and friendly and I was never made to feel dumb for asking questions or not knowing how to do something. Been to many ranges, visited here for about a hour and a half before they closed & I will return! Great prices, membership is worth it and pays for itself if you plan to purchase anything. Rentals are very fairly priced, lanes are nice and well kept, and the staff is phenomenal. Extremely knowledgeable, won't make you feel like an idiot for not knowing everything either. Best indoor range in NWA. The environment is always extremely clean and well maintained, lanes have digitally managed target movement to get specific distances for either pistol or rifle lane use. Great selection of firearms, ammo, attachments, hunting items, and apparel and a lot of other things as you could imagine. We come here often overall - but this was our first time testing out the axe throwing. If you're into having a guide and being hovered around, this is not for you. Since my husband and I have been axe throwing a few times before, we were happy to skip the tutorials or be told what games to play. We got a solid hour of throwing time in because we each had a lane. It was a chill experience and perfect for a little date night. I'm now convinced I can be an axe thrower professionally! Went in to buy a string for my bow. The 3 guys at the front counter asked if I needed anything. I explained to them I wanted a string. All 3 said I would need to know the type and model of my bow. Which I replied, it's mine I know these things. Then the next excuse came, "well we don't know how to order that", "call next time". Never have I witnessed 3 people in retail not want to sell something. They were too interested in whatever was on the computer screen they were laughing at. I won't be back. nice facilities but unfortunately cannot use them due to backwards management and unclear policies have made every trip out here unpleasant, seems whoever is working the desk that day decides the rules, such as being denied range access even after being a patron in the past multiple times and having signed their release form. Whereas other times they only cared what ammo you're going to be using. It's a shame I'll no longer be going here and will be a field with a berm instead from here on out, they won't be hurting without me but I enjoy giving the business to people who provide an enjoyable experience, don't know where that went here... read more

The Ozark Sportsman Supply is a great little independent retailer fo the type which is quickly fading in our retail landscape. The store has been redone and is laid out nicely. A good selection of firearms, ammo and accessories. Lots of Archery supplies as well. The shooting range is usually lively and full. The max 35 yard range is good for indoors but obviously won't allow long rifle sighting. And no, they don't want AR-15 yahoos pretending to be Rambo on the Range. The store is also complemented by a great clothing retailer that shares teh same building. They have great brands and a full selection. THere's also a coffee/Tea bar in-between the stores that's nicely done. Overall this is a great little space to shop, shoot, and sip if so inclined. read more

Hey what a great place this is for your sporting needs. I was here a year or so ago and guess what they added on and moved up to a top notch shooting range! The gun-tender for lack of a better word right now was awesome! They have a restaurant in there as well as Sporting apparel from billabong to under Armour and believe me I'm leaving some top names out right now. Ozark Sportsman - Archery Near Me - Springdale, Arkansas

Unfortunately my experience has not gone well. I was trying to do a straightforward FFL transfer on a shotgun I purchased online. The first issue was lack of communication. After contacting the seller it was discovered the gun had been received three days prior by Ozark Sportsman but I had not received any notification from them that the gun had arrived. After calling to receive confirmation no apologies were given. I went today to pick up the gun after some 15-20 minutes I was told there was a problem with the NICS federal system. I then called another local FFL dealer and was informed the system was working for him. I've called back multiple times just to be told there must be something wrong with their system without a path forward for resolution. I have a very disappointed 9 year old son who was looking forward to shooting his first shotgun today with his father. Once I receive the gun I do not plan on doing any further business with Ozark Sportsman. If you are reading this I hope you have a better experience with them than I have had. Update: they were finally able to get their system working. They were kind enough to waive all fees. read more

I have only used the indoor pistol range. There are lots of retail supplies and they have a lot of higher end firearms for sale. The staff is friendly. The indoor range is nice and comfortable buy typically very loud and somewhat crowded during busy times. They offer free use of hearing and eye protection. This place would easily get 5 stars if not for the frequently placed political propaganda...not everyone thinks Trump is god and not all people with liberal views want to take everyone's gun. read more

4 days ago If you buy items from this business, make sure you only buy using credit cards. I bought two items for two different guns that I own with cash totally $108.28. These items did not fit my guns. And I had bought these items less than 24 hours ago from the purchase date and time. I was told if I had the original packaging and the receipt I could return the items. I brought the items in to be returned. The person behind the desk punched the two items in the register and then asked me for a credit card. I told them I paid cash and they said I was S.O. L. and would not return my money. PROS: Really nice shop in a great location. Selection is nice, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The indoor pistol range is about what you'd expect, out of an indoor pistol range, which is still a plus. They offer military and law enforcement discounts on range time, which I'm thankful for. All in all, their selection is good if you're looking for most things weapons & outdoors related. They carry most things ranging between marksmanship, hunting, fishing, & apparel. CONS: Prices are a little more than expected and definitely on the high side, when compared to similar industry. If you're looking for decent quality but on a budget, you might be a little hard pressed to find it here; as they carry mostly high end equipment. Example; Daniel Defense. As far as their retail items, also a good bit on the high side, comparatively. Range time is the only military/LE discount available, which really isn't a big deal as I'm not the type to ask for one. But it would be cool to see a store that offered it, as those groups typically frequent this kind of establishment. The pistol range as stated above is about what one would expect, with that said, I've also listed as a con due to the following reason: if you're a professional & you're wanting to get any rapid fire (realistic) training in, you won't be allowed to here, as they require you take a second or more between shots. The rifle range needs some serious work. It's on the short side when compared to most rifle ranges and that is to be expected, being that its indoors. Also, the rifle range is falling apart. During my visit, two of the target slides came apart. The ventilation system is so aggressive, you won't be able to keep your targets from swaying. Which is terrible for those trying to sight in their rifles. Lastly, they could use a few more staff on busy days as even during slow hours, they seem a little sparse. A few minor adjustments and I'd say Ozark is definitely worthy of an honest four star. I do enjoy the place. read more
