I had advised before I came that I had recent MRI's and X-rays they had not obtained or requested records for review to prepare for my appointment. Tried to force me to pay for a new xray when the MRI was done not even weeks prior. Feels like they just try to run up bills. I had the mri file on my phone and was able to email or I had a url that they could've opened on their browser but refused to so I had to go back a second time. Money, time, and gas. It was pouring the rain and was detoured due to an accident and was 11 minutes late for my appt. They check me in, then call to tell me I can wait almost 2 hours past my appt time to be seen or reschedule when I stood in line waiting to be checked in. Claimed they checked cameras to determine how long I was waiting. I should never had to come back a second time. And I can almost guarantee they would've not called me back within 11 minutes. Have to reiterate information several times as my date of birth and several other things were read back wrong. From what I've heard of this place I should've went somewhere else in the first place. Several people had warned me they were referred to another office from being injured from here or their injury worsened from low quality care. Waiting on a referral to a different office.

I had suffered for many years with bad pain in my hips and legs. Everyone, including other doctors,…read moreassumed it was my hips. But, yet I kept being told that my hips weren't bad enough for surgery. I switched to S.E. Sports Medicine and was immediately diagnosed with Trendelenburg Gait, meaning my glueteus medius and gluteus minimus tendons were ripped and torn from the bone. After an MRI which clearly verified my condition, Dr. Matthew Wham said that he could repair this. Because of my age, he couldn't be sure of the damage and atrophy until he got into the surgery, but he was hopeful. The surgery went VERY well! The 8 inch incision with 20 or more staples hardly hurt at all, and I am a real pain wuss. In 3 days I was up and using a walker, and I am in a brace from my hip to my knee for 2months, but I can tell that my previous constant pain down my right hip and leg is gone. Dr. Wham is amazing, and I would advise you to goggle him for his specialties and se if he can change your life, too!

My mom had renal disease and if you have this it can be very fatal(almost always) to have contrast done. THe very next morning she was so sick couldn't get out of bed. We had to call ems to come get her bc the contrast had started shutting her kidneys completely down. I hope this helps someone. Our mom ended up passing bc her kidneys were unable to handle the contrast. We were robbed , she was robbed of so many years. If she had been informed of this contrast and what it did SHE WOULD OF NEVER AGREED TO IT. My understanding is we have my chart for these very reasons so any dr anywhere can pull up your medical history so they know what meds they on and etc. If anybody would of looked they would have seen her kidneys were not 100% and any amount of contrast could be and was fatal. I deserve to live pain free and not on narcotics. I pay a lot in premiums and high deductibles and he is pushing care into next year if ever. He has lots of advice about things that he is not a specialist on and contradicted himself because he is not confident in operating on a less than perfect patient. Dr. Loging might be different. Every time I've gone, I've had the best experience. The doctor takes time to talk to me and explain what's going on. He allows me to decide my course of treatment, as opposed to pushing me in one direction or the other. If you need to get trigger point injections, they do them at the office. For more invasive treatments, you have to go to one of the Charlotte locations. Thankfully one of them is just off 485, about 10-15 minutes from the Concord office. I am so glad I was referred to this office. The doctors are excellent and the staff are so friendly. I highly recommend this practice to anyone that needs this type of support. Dr. Thakur is amazing. He manages my back and neck area. Dr. Messick manages my shoulder. I appreciate them tremendously. I promise you will not be disappointed. Be well!
