Teresa was responsive to my yelp request for an engraving job quote, was able to work on acrylic, and gave a reasonable price and FAST same day turn around. She made time for my small, but meaningful engraving job for my team at work, helped me pick out fonts that enhanced the job, and I can't wait to give there engraved performance awards to my staff! The shop is not far from downtown LA (DTLA) where I work (15-20 min drive) so that I could drop off the job at lunch. There was plenty of street parking and the shop is right in a small building next to a beauty shop and close to the 76 station on the corner. What's great about this place is also the atmosphere... you walk into the shop and see displays of creative, artistic wood cutting, paper cutting, laser cutting jobs ranging from complex 3-D models to beautifully adorned signs. Immediately you get the sense they can do anything and the only limit is your imagination! The shop is clean, smells inviting, and is like stepping into a design dream world just off this busy street. The photos of Teresa's other passion - landscape design - adorn the walls. Gorgeous. Plus, she was pleasant, helpful and finished my job early! At the end of the day, she and her husband and co-owner Al (the architect) were there waiting for me. They had my job beautifully displayed for my inspection, and I fell in love. Teresa and Al are the type of business owners you want to work with over and over. Their warmth and genuine pride in their work exudes from their heart. You feel like someone in your family just went the extra step to make sure you are pleased with your requested work, job or project and on time! I know I'm not alone. They were on their way to see a customer's building at CSULA because of the sense of connection created from the model they designed for the customer in the process. I can't say enough good things about this company. I called or wrote back and forth with at least 5 other businesses in the area before choosing them just based on their customer service in our interactions. I'm so happy I did. I just wasn't wearing it and knew I would enjoy it more as a necklace. WELL.....they do beautiful work. Family business for decades. I found them by accident while I was at a nearby business. The pricing was fair, the work was outstanding, and when I wasn't 100% thrilled with the chain I had ordered, we had a full discussion to get to the bottom of the issue. Simple fix, just a bit too shiny and needed a bit more antiquing. Malila said, We want you to be happy and not just okay with your purchase. Within a day or two, the chain was antiqued more, and it's now perfect! Great experience, and now I have beautiful new memories of my mom's jewelry.

This company is the worst to deal with! I had some items encased. I received an invoice on June…read more20, 2024, which included a $35 credit card fee. Since Robert (owner) included it in the invoice with no option to pay with an alternative payment, I said OK, I will pay with my credit card and at least get points on my credit card. I made payment immediately on the June 20th. The invoice said the encasement will be mailed 10-13 days from payment. Prior to receiving the invoice, Robert told me my encasement was done, but the engraver made a mistake on the engraving and he wanted him to redo it, which I was happy with, since I was spending a lot of money on this encasement. A couple days after I made my payment, I received an email from Robert asking if I could make my payment through Zelle (I'm guessing because of less fees to the business), but not wanting to refund me any of the $35 credit card fee he charged me. I sent him a copy of my bank statement that showed I already made my payment on June 20th. I called Robert on July 1st and asked if he could send me a photo before he ships, which he did and he said it will ship out by UPS on July 2nd and should take one day for delivery. I received an email on July 2nd from UPS that the label was created and will be delivered on July 3rd. I waited all day July 3rd and no delivery. I was a little upset but understood the holiday was the next day. I figured it would ship out on July 5th with a delivery date of the 6th. July 6th came and went with no delivery. I checked UPS app and it still said only a label was created. I called Robert on Monday, July 8th and asked about the shipping of my encasement. He came up with excuses and guaranteed that my encasement will go out today. Update: I just received an email from UPS that they have received my package and should be delivered tomorrow.
