The experience included a topless server (male) for our party, an instructor and a nude model (also male). Something else that wasn't specified was if you had a female model if you would also have a female server? So not sure on that. I would guess she would be in a bikini or bra top as no nude photography is allowed and they walk around during the entirety of the event serving drinks and handing out pencils as needed. This would be a fun event to celebrate bachelorette parties (obviously), but you could also utilize their services for any type of gathering. I can so see a ladies night in with my friends doing this, but she also mentioned divorce parties (in which case can we have a group of male models I'll take 5 thank u), birthdays for the artsy friend, baby shower because clearly they've seen someone nude and nobody likes baby shower games (she didn't say that but I couldn't resist).... anyways, I digress. At our event, Bobby the server refilled drinks and took care of us during the drawing portion. The instructor and muse were fabulous at providing instruction and maintaining a sophisticated AND fun environment. It was fun to learn drawing techniques, but my skill was just alright! Each round went pretty quickly, so I wish I could have taken a bit more time to draw.

Westlake Skate Center is like that one family owned restaurant you remember from your childhood…read morethat's still open. Time has gone on, you and everything else around you has grown and matured, but Westlake is still the same. Some skate purists will appreciate that, while most others would not. I really enjoy coming here, but I can see why most people would stay away from this place. 1) the place is in dire need of a deep clean and renovation. The carpeted walls and seats feel so dirty, the lockers look nasty, and the overall esthetics gives off that "cooties" vibe; 2) A lot of the rental skates are old. If you plan on coming on a Friday or Saturday night, get there early or you might get stuck with the older slates that aren't too great. 3) You aren't going to be treated like you're at the Ritz. Sometimes the workers are nice, but that can easily change once it gets busy or if you become that annoying customer. 4) Like at most skating rinks, there are unsupervised kids falling every where, skating the wrong way, and simply getting in the way. 5) Masks are not enforced and most staff do not wear them. With that all being, I love going to this rink. It has its flaws, but 1) there's a great community of regulars who come and/or work there. 2) It's a family friendly environment (though, song choices are questionable). There are usually fun games for the kids that do not take up too much time. 3) The music is pretty diverse, though it pays homage to the weird skate/techno genre (most people like it, I don't). 4) The culture amongst the regulars is pretty welcoming and inclusive. People are more than willing to help or share different skating tips. I would recommend this rink to novice/intermediate skaters who do not mind kids just want a low-key place to skate. For those of you who skate once in a blue moon and do not own a pair of skates, I'd maybe consider somewhere else.

As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a lovely sweet young lady and a bunch of prizes. You pay, sign the waivers and walk on it. We went on Father's Day so it was completely empty but that made it soooo much more fun! My 4 year old son had a blast going on the slide over and over again! My husband and I even got to jump around! This establishment is definitely family owned. Each child is $10 and adults free. My infant did not pay since she doesn't even crawl. $10 for a great time and a couple of hours just around the corner of our home, SURE! Will definitely be back again! This place is not at all what was described. For the amount of money we paid to rent the place out…read moreon a Sunday, I was very disappointed. If you are even considering this as an option, I would look elsewhere. 1) The place is extremely dirty on the outside and the inside. There was cake all over the ground outside that you could tell had been there for a very long time. Inside is even worse. The bounce houses were very dirty and you could tell had not been cleaned in a very long time. Inside the INFANT bounce house, there were little small balloons that could have easily been picked up and swallowed. Please see photos as a reference. 2) Through half of the "Play area" is exposed concrete where multiple kids fell and hurt themselves due the hard cutoffs between foam pad and concrete. Please see photos as a reference. 3) There was no air conditioning in this place at all. There were several roll in space air conditioners that were not doing the job even remotely. In the beginning of August it is simply not enough. 4) The bounce houses started falling down 3 separate times while children were inside of them. More than a few bounce houses are all plugged into the same surge protector and popped the breaker all 3 times. No where near safe in this environment. Additionally, a few of these bounce houses had GIANT holes in them with some being covered in tape and some not. 5) Exactly 1 of the games "worked" and I use that term lightly as the wheel on the machine was completely broken. 6) This place had no where near adequate lighting. Over half of the lights were completely out and other half were barely working as is. Please see photos as a reference. 7) There was a popcorn machine with popcorn in it and all the kids were asking to have some so once we actually looked at the popcorn inside, it was very clear it had been there for weeks and possibly months. Save your time. Spend your money elsewhere.
