I WAS SHOCKED! I have never paid less to have my dogs groomed! Than I have here in Silver City! She had 2 dogs & wanted a lower price! And still didnt tip! (i asked!) I was embarrassed for her! These are your babies! Why would you skimp? Maybe I am crazy, but I pay extra if I can! My dogs mean the world to me. Anyways, I love you gals! BUT - SERIOUSLY Turquoise Poodle is professional, friendly, reasonable, and they love my dog (which makes me love them). Pam and her team really know what they are doing so my baby always comes out looking pristine. The hardest part for me is scheduling which would be a challenge anywhere because of my calendar and lack of flexibility. But Pam consistently works to help me get my baby groomed and maintained in a timely manner. I appreciate Turquoise Poodle, they have been a part of my life and family for years. We have used them for more than a year and Leah loves going there to play with her friends. They care for Leah as if she was their own. They pay close attention to my requests for her care and she has never NOT wanted to go there. We are especially grateful when they accommodate last minute changes to our boarding needs. Please note…read morethat my dog is a INSIDE dog and is also a white fur puppy, I would have noticed if he had a cut. He did not go in with a cut, he was cut. I was told they applied an ointment and I needed to keep an eye on it. Next day, I noticed the ointment was off and realized this was NOT just a cut. Do NOT trust your fur baby's with them. I had no idea, my puppies were being ABUSED over here. Very disgust, very disappointed in the lack of care.

The quality has been on a decline for a couple years at this point. They allegedly only have one groomer who works one day a week, which truly sucks. My dog became cage aggressive as a result of the very first groomer we encountered here to start (can't remember her name) which was never an issue any other time she had been groomed elsewhere. Most recently, I had called to set an appointment for her yearly vaccines in anticipation of getting her groomed. When I requested the grooming appointment, I was told that because HE (they consistently say he when my dog is female) is cage aggressive she needs to be with an experienced groomer. This experienced groomer is also the only one available, who only works Wednesdays. This call was made at the beginning of June, and the appointment wouldn't be until June 25th. Fine, I'm okay with waiting. The 23rd rolls around and I still have yet to receive the email reminder, so I decide to call and see what was going on. The girl who picked up the phone checks the schedule and sees no appointment for my dog, and offers to reschedule for the experienced groomer on July 9th. I had already waited so long for the original appointment that I'm starting to get annoyed. I accept the appointment for July 9th. My husband then texts me that the appointment was canceled, due to the groomer being sick. GREAT. When can she get groomed? They're not sure, needed to see if they could squeeze HIM (again my dog is female, she's been groomed here for years, and they can literally see it says female on her profile) in with the manager. I'm already annoyed as it is so I ask what the solution here is, how soon I'd have to call back. I'm told they'll call me when they have a solution. Well I figured out MY solution. I went to a different groomer.
