This location was quite small with very limited parking, a couple spaces only in front. It's always a challenge to park here.
Pan de Manila has been my go to for pan de sal whenever I am visiting Manila. Their pan de sals are so much better than what's available in the states. The ovens are right in the back and we came right as a fresh batch was wheeled out! Love that freshly baked bread smell.
Their macapuno tarts are also quite good and ensaymadas (except they were all sold out that afternoon).
They also sell jams, prepackaged coffees and cold drinks. I picked up a mango jam jar to try with my pan de sals.
Prices have gone up since I was last here but not as dramatically as the bakeries in the US.
Service was fast and everything was nicely packaged. Each dozen of fresh pan de sals were hand packed together in their own paper bags.
There are other locations around Manila and I'd recommend given them a try. read more
