As both a physician and former colleague of those surgeons and a patient who has underwent robotic assisted surgery at a prestigious New York Hospital, it is my opinion that none of the surgeons at Northern Inyo Hospital should , in all conscience, be offering their services with that technique! Neither they nor Northern Inyo Hospital have the patient volume ( 25bed rural hospital) to perform the robotic assisted surgery safely! That is my opinion as a physician who has worked with all the surgeons there as of end 2015!
