    Antipasto

We had a birthday celebration at Pane Vino and I would say it was fantastic! We really enjoyed food and surrounding atmosphere. Pizza was amazing, the same was service. The best pizza I had for a long time.

The charcuterie and melon with procuitto plate. So fresh

We picked up takeaway from this hidden gem, the pizza smelled so good, we couldn't wait until we got home to eat it. Highly recommend!!

We got there about an hour prior to closing, but figured a wood fired pizza can't take all that long. The server Abigale was very quick, polite and obviously well trained. We ordered a bottle of Chianti along with a Caprese salad. The lovely K an Al Pesto pizza and I the Hawaiian. I know there is a big debate about pineapple on a pizza, but we are here at home not in Italy. The salad was excellent, the wine very nice, and the pizza's were divine. They were crunchy, well topped and cooked perfectly for us. Having spent the month of March in the south of Italy this year we've eaten a fair amount of pizza, this experience took us right back. It wasn't long that we were the only ones in the place and the owner came by the check on us while he mopped the floors. The place was being cleaned by all the staff along with the owner, you don't see that often. He moved from India to Italy and finally here to Canada. We're glad he did! 100% Recommended!! We will be back for sure!

Being a family business, the employees genuinely care about the service given and it shows. The lighting is perfect for my wife and I (she is on the spectrum and can't do bright lights.) The open kitchen totally adds to the ambience and atmosphere, warming the place up and creating an amazing aroma that leaves you wanting more!!! This is our second trip here in one day! We got the focaccia and the bruschetta. We ended up putting the tomatoes that fell off the bread onto the focaccia and it was incredible. We came back later, got more bruschetta, a margherita di bufalo pizza and a glass of the mazzei chianti! Perfect pairing! We ended with an affogato and tiramisu (the server's mother's secret recipe!!!!) Also want to add they have a wonderful patio section with plentiful seating!

I've tried several of their pizzas and they are consistently pretty good. Tonight I ordered the Pizza Antipasto with salami, sausage, roasted peppers, and olives (to go). By far the best part of the pizza is the crust. Their pizzas are all thin crust and the crust is great! Nice and crunchy on the bottom but soft with the right amount of bite in the dough. I'd say the weakness would have to be quality of ingredients. They say they use only local, premium, and handmade ingredients (which is great) but the mozzarella quality was lacking and not high quality (when removed some toppings you could see the outline of the shredded cheese - indicative of either non premium cheese or a temperature issue) and the olives were just canned black olives. I am being critical on purpose, however - the pizza was very good! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the decor was pretty cool - very casual but nicely decorated. This is one of the few restaurant options up near Predator Ridge and Sparkling Hill and it's a great spot to drop in with some friends for some pizza and wine. Bottom line: Good pizza (great crust!), friendly staff, and pleasant ambiance!
