Worst dining experience ever. No exaggeration. My boyfriend and I arrived five minutes early for our reservation, and waited an extra forty-five minutes standing, (I'm in heals mind you) As the only seating had numerous jackets thrown all over the one section to sit. After waiting we were seated in a small loud room full of drunken obnoxious people; including stickers on some foreheads, while the only other sober couple seemed anything but pleased with their meals. I tried speaking across the table and found my voice drown in the noise. Drinks were first. We both got water, he asked for lemon, which arrived five minutes after the water, along with the cold stale bread. We asked for new warm bread, after all this was supposed to be a five course valentines dinner for two.. She took our bread popped it in the microwave and placed it back on our table. No exactly good service. Next was our appetizer. Three very small stuffed mushrooms each, trying to be positive we both agreed there are many courses, that's the reason for the size of the mushrooms. After that was our corn chowder. I cannot express the rather laughable size of the "cup" that our chowder came in. My guess is 2'' high and 3'' wide. It wasn't bad, taste wise. Next was the salad. My vinaigrette came unshook so that the oil was at the top of the small container. I tried to stir it with my fork, It didn't work. So I just ate my small hand-full of baby greens and two slices of green pepper with an olive on top. Then finally was the main course, I was starving at this point. I had requested the chicken and my boyfriend the prime rib. I received stuffed chicken, which looked and tasted as if it was something you buy frozen. The stuffing in the center was so sticky and mushy I couldn't bare it. A long with the canned cranberry sauce on top. And the three tiny potatoes and canned green beans that him and I both received. His prime rib was at most a half inch thick, completely raw in the middle, as they do no ask you how you like your meat. None the less, I ate no more than a bite, completely feeling taken advantage of. This is not a quality place to eat, as the website seems to convince. We received our dessert after expressing our complete dissatisfaction with the meal and received nothing but an "oh sorry" from our waitress, as if it was not the first of the night. After receiving our dessert of not too appealing cheese cake for me and brownie for him, we left, and tried to enjoy the rest of our valentines night. read more
