I was ignored completely by both store employees "working" today. One was too busy on a personal phone call, while the other preferred to hide in the back. For being the only customer in the store, it was very obvious they do not care about selling men's clothing. I have been in fishing clubs on and off for decades. Owned many boats, and currently fish at least once a week, year round. I've fished in multiple countries. Today, July 12, 2025. I visited the Ovris store in Huntsville for the first and last time. I was looking at fly rods and "the guy" working came up and asked did I need fly fishing lessons. I told him no and he said with a very condescending attitude, "those are Sage rods and you shouldn't be playing with them." First of all, I wasn't playing with it. I was inspecting it, just as I do all expensive fishing equipment I buy. Secondly, You don't speak to a grown man that way. I'm not a child! And, in the event there was a sign saying not to touch, it wasn't displayed well. I certainly didn't see one. I recommend shopping online and avoid this business. You'll probably save money anyway.
