If you're looking for straightforward Filipino comfort food in the BGC or Market! Market! area,…read morethis spot is a solid contender--especially since they serve beer. They are best known for their signature roast chicken and pork belly, but the rest of the menu holds its own. We visited over the weekend for a late lunch (around 2:00 PM) and tried the fried chicken and pork belly. While the flavors were still good, you could tell the food had been sitting out for a while. Even though we arrived during off-peak hours, the restaurant was still about 80% full, so it would have been great if they served a fresher batch rather than what was left under the heat lamp. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which goes a long way. Don't expect anything fancy; the setting is quite basic and nothing to write home about. This branch is significantly better in terms of quality and service compared to their Makati location. Only issue I have is that they obviously ran our of clean utensils, they offered disposable ones that did not match. Fork was plastic and the spoon was wooden. For the price and quality, it's a nice place to visit if you're in the neighborhood and craving the basics. It's reliable Filipino fare, though your experience might be even better if you catch them during peak hours when the food turnover is higher.

Try this place, as you can grab a large chunk of delicious bird and when you have cleaned the bones, you find the tightly woven lemon grass that was placed in the chickens ... lol, tastes GREAT!

I gotta have SEX tonight, I gotta have it! SEX tayo please! Okay, now that I'm done poking fun at this restaurant's acronym. It's time for the real review of Sinangag Express or what others like to call it as SEX. First of all, you basically get food that was made to give a specific purpose: to cure a hangover when drunk and to ward of hunger without breaking the bank. SEX is fast. You can come and go in a few minutes depending on how hungry you are, and since the food is delicious you're likely to be out the door right away. The basic tapsilog costs around P75 these days (They started at P39. Damn you inflation) even then, you're still going to get a decent meal that will keep you happy for a couple of hours. So,if you happen to be in the BF area. Don't hesitate on trying SEX. You're more or less likely to want to have SEX all the time.

I must admit that the first thing that came to mind when I saw that neon sign was the famous Seinfeld episode where Kramer gets hooked on the chicken. The chicken was ok, but nothing to obsess about. We visited the store last Monday because we were interested in arranging our son's baptismal party. We spoke with one of your staff members (forgot the name) about our preferred date and time. We were informed that the schedule was currently unavailable, but the staff member told us that he would try to discuss the matter with the other guest occupying the ground floor and consult the manager about the possibility of accommodating a double party on that particular date and time. He took down our details and specifically advised us that we would receive an update within 1-2 days. Based on what was communicated to us, we were under the impression that our request was still being considered and that we would be contacted once a decision had been made. Three days later, when I personally returned to the store to follow up, a staff member named (Leslie) simply informed us that it was not possible. We completely understand that our preferred date and time may not be available and that there may be operational limitations. What is disappointing is the way our expectations were managed. If the arrangement was only a possibility and required management approval, this should have been clearly explained from the beginning. Giving us a 1-2 day timeframe for an update and telling us that the staff would try to make arrangements created a reasonable expectation that our request was genuinely being pursued. Customers should not have to wait several days and personally return to the establishment just to receive a final answer, especially when a specific timeframe for an update was provided. Hospitality is not only about the food or the venue. It is also about how customers are treated, how expectations are managed, and whether staff follow through on what they communicate. If something cannot be accommodated, we can accept that. What we cannot understand is being given the impression that something is being worked on when there was apparently no confirmed arrangement to begin with. This experience was particularly disappointing because we were considering your establishment for an important family occasion. We expected a welcoming and professional experience, but instead, the communication and follow-through left much to be desired. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reviews how staff are trained to communicate regarding reservations, special requests, and arrangements that require approval. Staff should be careful not to create expectations or provide timeframes that they cannot reasonably fulfill. We are not asking for special treatment. We are simply asking for clear communication, proper expectation management, and professional customer service.
