I have been looking for a barbershop to take my son to that was local since his old barber is in Austin. I scheduled my appointment on the Bookey app. paid a deposit which I didn't mind at all. It wasn't something I had ever done before. I was running late for my son's appt, and I called to let the shop know because I was worried, I would need to reschedule since business hours ended at 6pm. The owner Nick said, "No worries still come in." Nick welcomed us right when we walked into the door. There are two entrances to the parking lot. One in front of the shop, and one at the backside of the shop. The shop has a unique decoration style which I loved. I felt right at home! The shop was clean and well taken care of. Nick was friendly, and very professional. He asked for permission to video my son's haircut. I did not mind at all. My son is in the process of starting 360 waves. Nick educated us both on how often he should wash his hair, and the organic product that he used for moisturizing the scalp. Nick does work in fast pace, but the reaction I got from my son once his hair cut was complete made my entire day! My son has never been so happy and he held his head high with confidence. Been here for my last 3 haircuts and they do a good job. The atmosphere is cool, with lots of sports and music memorabilia, and other fun things to take in. I've always visited as a walk-in but never had to wait long. A normal cut runs about $35. I plan to make this my go-to barber shop. read more

The owner Nick cut my hair, and rushed through my haircut as quickly as possible. Did a terrible job, I had to tell him to fix multiple spots. He skipped most of the haircut and did only a fade with no line up. Fade was terrible as well. No straight razor like they typically do, my beard wasn't lined up straight. Then proceeds to up charged me for this trash cut. I have been here 3 times in a row and paid $40 each time. He decided $50 for this cut....Not a single cut from them was decent. Do not come here If you want a quality cut. Nick doesn't pay attention to details, he rushes his haircuts to get paid quickly. read more

I walked in at about 5:30pm knowing they close at 6. Sat in line, waited, played some bey blade while listening to everyone talk about everything from traffic to hunting to football. My turn comes up at about closing time. I show Nik a picture of what I want and he says he can do better. Ok, we'll see. I let him do his work. At this point everyone's talking about the UT-OU game. Fast forward through the cutting process and it's time to go, the haircut looks really good from what I can see, I'm happy with it. I pay and start to walk out, and this is what separates him from any other barber I've been to, he stops me as I'm walking out the door, "hold on a second, sit down real quick" he says. At a point where any other barber would have let me walk out because it's past closing time and he's probably ready to go home, he takes the time to put his customer first. He spotted something he wasn't happy with and corrected it. At this point I knew he was the kind of guy you want cutting your hair. I get home and my son says "daddy, let me see your haircut", we're pretty picky about our hair cuts. "That's the best cut you've ever had!" My son says. I don't think the guy that cut my hair is really a barber, couldn't be. Asked for a bald fade which I thought is simple enough. The top was not all cut the same lenght. The fade is high on one side and not faded. Im super disappointed and suggest you do not waste your money. The name on the square charge to my card is AB the barber. Boom Papas was on top, I give them a call, place closes in five minutes... however Nick offers to wait if I'm near he will wait. Been here twice. Once for my son, and once for my boyfriend. The second time we made an appointment. Both times we felt very unwelcome and almost like they were annoyed by us being there. Very cold. I don't know why. Both times we tipped well over 20%. We also showed the barber the cut my boyfriend wanted on my phone and he said he would do it, then gave him a 100% different cut. The cut was good, but not at all what we wanted. And my boyfriend wore a hat for 2 weeks because he didn't like the style. We are both super disappointed because we are new to this part of Texas and was looking for a long term place to take my boyfriend and son. We hoped the first time was just a coincidence or a bad day so when we tried again and it was the same, we were very let down. Every place in Georgetown has let us down. I guess we will have to drive to Round Rock or Austin for an actual barber shop that has barbers skilled to do black hair. read more
