They're big on t-shirts around here, where they mix Mayan motifs into western imagery and logos. They have some local liquors which I'd never heard of, and some chocolate liquor that could be interesting. The hammocks were shown to be of superior quality to those sold in the town square. These have four or five different strands of nylon string, while the ones out there on the sidewalk are just two, and can't handle the weight. Hey! What are you saying?! The store took dollars or pesos - you get a better price with pesos. All the prices were clearly marked, so no need to haggle over things. I'd imagine they'd still be willing to do some haggling anyhow. The prices seemed to be a bit higher than any of the street vendors we'd seen, but these were of the higher qualities of stuff. The clerks were most welcoming, and answered all of our questions about their merchandise.

We drove around on a Thursday and found Floreria La Riviera (Cozumel location) since we needed the arrangements for the next day we were nervous to find a place who could handle a large order with only 24 hrs in advice. We met with the owner/manager and told her what we needed, 9 colorful arrangements in glass vases to act as tropical centerpieces. She said it wasn't a problem, and the cost of $220 was even better! They delivered the flowers the next morning and they were beautiful and more than we had hoped for on a last minute occasion. I highly recommend! After speaking on the phone briefly, then some back and forth about sizing and pricing on WhatsApp, I decided to go for it and purchase a custom flower arrangement with delivery! 50% deposit and the rest payed in person was the agreement. I recommend them sending you pictures for approval before the flowers leave their business because I will say they did not give me 100% what I asked for and it also started tipping over after a while. I asked for only roses and they added greenery which I made them remove. They also added cheaper flowers that were not roses but in the end it still came out beautifully. I would still recommend and use them again just have a lot of clear communication with them. Thank you, my mother loved the flowers !

We were all looking to take home gifts and this shop satisfied our needs on many levels. Pottery, vanilla, glassware, toys, they seemed to have it all. The ladies working there were all friendly and thankfully, their English was better than my Spanish! I had my gifts all planned out until I went upstairs, and then everything was turned up-side-down (in a great way). I found my niece upstairs, hanging out with Cristian who is the man in charge of the tequila tasting. By the way, just say yes, because he doesn't take no for an answer!! We tried chocolate tequila, vanilla tequila, pomegranate, apricot... oh the list goes on. I came home with some chocolate, and my niece tried the regular (oh so yummy, sweet tasting, sippin' tequila). She questioned the cashier and showed the pottery piece. As she was turning the piece over to show the price tag, the piece slipped from her hand and broke. They made her pay for it. Very unfriendly and we certainly wished we had never set foot in the place.
