Cause this nifty spot is going to be the source of all my future paper-related purchases :) Located in Hyde Park Village, I nearly missed this store, but was lucky enough to spy the display from the window of a bakery we were visiting. It's so clean, bright, and full of fun items. There were THREE clearance sections, cards, seasonally themed collections, and all the wrapping options you could ever ask for! I found a discounted manual coffee grinder for camping trips, along with some cards and self-care must-haves. The staff are so kind, but they don't follow you around or pressure you into a particular section or purchase. I appreciated the wealth of knowledge they had to offer, plus all the sustainable packaging at their disposal. The biodegradable bags made my eco-friendly heart happy. Definitely give this place a visit if you find love in the details or are looking for special finishing touches to add to a gift! read more

Love, love love this store! Selection is phenomenal, and I had several options for the lined journal I was looking for and finally found here (I've looked in a few places trying to find the Right One). Several different options from covers, lined, unlined, dotted, smaller/closer lines vs more widely ruled.... I have tiny handwriting, especially with my better, more fine tipped pens I prefer to journal with, so finding a closely ruled journal I like isn't always easy. The wrapping paper options were also lovely, and the selection of items around the shop for not only journaling and book themed things was great, unusual but often undervalued items. My friend finally found more reusable makeup rounds, complete with their own storage bag, after she's been looking for a few months to replace the ones she's had and used for years but are starting to show some definite wear. The cashier and person assisting with stocking were both friendly and helpful without being pushy/overly involved (ALWAYS appreciated as an introvert!). I found not only the perfect journal for my preferences but also picked up a small craft project and both were very fair in price. read more

Came in just to browse. They are located on the lower level next door to Francesca's and Hyppo. They have a lot of gifting items. And walls of wrapping paper options-- a wall for more birthday and every day type wrapping and another wall for wedding type wrapping. The store is actually bigger than I originally thought. So many nice things. A bit pricey, FYI. We will definitely be back in to browse some more when in the area. read more

I went into this business yesterday while visiting the Hyde park area. The place looked interesting and I like stationary and cards so I was looking to purchase a few things...however, as I proceeded to walk through the store, I came across at least three workers there and none of which even uttered a hello to me or offered to assist me. ...which I found to be odd being that I saw at least one of them assisting another woman as I was perusing the cards. I understand that this area of town is considered rather hoity-toity but that does not give people a pass to be looking down their noses at customers versus assisting them...and they missed out on a quite a sale because I saw a lot of things that I would have purchased during this visit...but I have no desire to go back. Keep looking down your nose at the customers there ladies...it makes This business looks so wonderful! NOT!!!!! If I could give "NO" stars at all and complete this review I would! read more

The Paper Source is a favorite stop among my entire family every time we are in the Hyde Park area. The selection is so vast, if you're looking for specialty paper or cards it is definitely worth the trip. More recently I have taken advantage of the classes they offer. I am IMPRESSED. Though the store was still in operating hours it felt super exclusive. The group size was small enough to get real one-on-one guidance but it was big enough to be a fun social group. The class I took was a lettering class but we learned more than just that. For example we were given the chance to try the embossing tool-wicked fun! I loved that after the lesson we were able to uses our new learned skills to create something to take home with us. I took the class solo and totally recommend that if you're interested in learning something, practicing something or just meeting some new people. I also think The Paper Source classes would make the perfect little group outing or perhaps a sister-date. read more

I enjoyed this store when it first came to Tampa. But when I was hanging out with my friends, we had gone in to see the place, but forgot something and left to grab it, then went back in. We looked around and bought something, then went out to make the bracelets from the pack, but needed more beads, so we went in to buy more. As we came in we got yelled at to stop coming into the store because it was messing up her "system" of keep track of who comes in and leaves. I don't know whether she was a manager or an employee or even the owner. But I am extremely disappointed with the service, we had done nothing wrong and even payed for some of their products. read more

This is my new favorite store in Hyde Park Village. It is way bigger on the inside than you would expect from the exterior. They have one of the best card selections I have seen, a great variety of gifts and novelty items, and even a section for crafting with stamps, stickers, etc. It looks like custom invitations and stationary are a big part of their business, because they have a wall filled with every color envelope liner you can imagine. They carry their own version of items, as well as name brands like Kate Spade and Rifle Paper Company. I think they plan to offer crafting workshops in the future, although currently they just sell crafting kits. If you are looking for a card, housewarming gift, thank you present, etc., you will find all your needs -card, gift, wrapping- easily met in this one cool store. read more

For several years I have turned to Paper Source to order my yearly Christmas cards. The quality and design has always been better and more creative than competitors'. However, this year, my experience has been awful. Instantly after ordering, I was unable to make a simple change, and it took weeks to resolve the issue with customer service. Sadly, I'm not sure I will ever order through Paper Source again. Additionally, the web site has a glitch so all of my saved projects are inaccessible, which makes using the site even more frustrating. I have also spoken with customer service about this issue, but they have no resolution. So very disappointed this year. It's a shame. read more

Went in to buy gold glitter wrapping paper, was about $10 for the roll. Went home to wrap the presents for Christmas, and no type of tape will stick to this wrapping paper. Also the glitter transfers and sticks to everything. Ended up stapling the presents together which wasn't too bad except for the fact that the roll only had enough paper to wrap 2 small presents before running out..For the price I thought I would at least be getting a good amount. read more

If I'm being honest I've never been in this store. I'm sure that they carry beautiful things but I'm not sure if that even matters considering how poor the customer service is. I called asking for balloons and a phone call that should have been 2 minutes became 8. An 8 minute phone call over balloons. I called asking how much it would be for a dozen regular sized latex balloons ( having worked with balloons before I understand they are priced by size and cost of helium together so I told her I understood) and the entire phone call she kept repeating that it was based on the balloon. Every time I told her I was looking for 10 regular 11 inch round balloons she followed me up with the same sentence about the pricing and asked me about the material and size about 10 times no exaggeration. This is my favorite store!! I always say that this is a great place to shop if you don't know what to get someone for a gift. They have such unique stuff! AND they'll wrap it for you. Which is amazing lol All the girls working there are so helpful and friendly when I come in, and they haven't gotten sick of me yet haha. Cool place to check out in Hyde Park Village. They're dog friendly and I met a lot of new four legged friends in my short amount of time here. It's mesmerizing to actually look at their paper products and look at their design and detail. If you didn't know, walking by it looks like high quality fabric designs.. but it's paper! They also wrap your presents for you if you bring it in so that's a very nice service. The workers were so nice and very helpful. I actually didn't end up buying a paper product but something else as they have a lot of cool non-paper products on sale as well. read more

The Paper Source is a high-end stationary store in Hyde Park Village. The store offers a unique selection of cards, invitations, stationary, gift wrap, journals, planners, calendars, craft kits, and gifts. This is definitely a scrapbookers' paradise! Every nook and cranny of the store is filled with pure adorableness. I somehow managed to walk out of the store empty handed, but I have a feeling I will be back soon to purchase stationary and holiday cards. The store manager, Monica, could not have been more condescending and unprofessional. Her tone and attitude were both deplorable. My son picked up an item that exploded a substance all over him. When asked what was inside the product she shrugged and literally, flat affect, said she didn't know and didn't care. She then proceeded to tell me that I am only complaining because she is a woman and I'm a man. This individual makes the store look bad and should be relieved of her duties. read more

This is my go-to place for stationary and wrapping paper in south Tampa. On one occasion, I needed to pick out special wrapping paper for an extremely classy, luxury wedding gift for a close buddy of mine. First and foremost, the staff was very accommodating, especially when I asked their opinion on wrapping paper, i.e. something masculine but at the same time fitting for the occasion. I left it in her hands and she picked out great paper, as well as the ribbon. I also had the staff member wrap it as well, and she did a fantastic job! They neatly placed the leftover paper and ribbon in the bag as well for future use, which I thought was very cool. Also, I purchase my greeting cards, birthday cards, and holiday cards here as well. They have quite a selection whether single or box sets. They have a ton of other items as well like knick-knacks and what not, but it's pretty chic-centric...like the rest of Tampa. Anyway, go here and you'll be happy with the selection, service, and price. read more

So let me start by saying that the products here are very cute and at an average price. I walked in this store and there was no one in it except two employees. When we walked in neither one said hello, welcome, can we help you, nothing. This seemed a bit odd but we continued to walk around. For 20 minutes no one said a thing in a silent store. As we shopped employees passed us and still continued to say nothing. Finally I walk up to the register to cash out and all she says is "all finished?" I simply said yes and cashed out. No have a nice day or thank you for shopping. A silent exit. Have to say this kind of customer service is very cold and I don't know that I will be returning. read more
