They have my favourite notebook brand (clairefontaine) and I can always count on them to have fair prices. Every time I need whiteout, pencils, erasers, etc... during my exam season, I go here and pick them up. It's convenient and well stocked. Dollarama school supplies are too cheaply made and Jean coutu sells almost the same product but at unreasonable prices. Bureau en gros only has sales in September for back to school, otherwise everything is full price and not worth it since you can get it here for less. If you can, try to stop here for your school supplies :) Well worth the money.

Not sure why I didn't think of this before, but started looking around for nib end replacements. I found some in the US which were very expensive, and also no shipping to Canada. Then I came across Stylo.ca, found and ordered the Targa nib I needed for a very reasonable price, and within a few days had it on my old fountain pen, which now writes like new! When I hadn't heard any additional updates, I sent a follow up email on June 2 regarding shipment and delivery of the pen I ordered, as I am out of province. Then I got a call from my bank stating that my credit card needed to be cancelled due to 3 recent fraudulent charges. When I looked at my credit card statement, the 3 charges were all in QC (I do not live in QC province). Then on June 3, I received an email from webmaster@stylo.ca with an update stating "Sorry inventory error" and asking if I'd like to choose a similar item for shipping without delay or cancel the order. I cancelled the order and funds were returned to my account, but not before incurring fraudulent charges totaling over $975.

I mean, they have not changed their look of their stores in 20 years. I will give them props that it is organized but their pricing for normally priced goods is moderately high. Where you have to score is on their sale items. However they do not keep much stock of sale priced items low.....so you must strike when the iron is hot or you will leave disappointed and like this face :-( I can't count how many times over the years I have gotten to later on in the week and I have wanted a sale item but have left disappointed. It really has let me down and leaves me with a not so great taste in my mouth when it comes to Bureau en Gros. Where they do excel is sale priced on certain electronics like USB storage keys.. It's amazing there is not as much competition in this segment however they appear to lead it so therefore they can provide a so-so experience. This location has decent service and they usually ask you if you need help. Rarely I do....... as I know where most of what I'm looking for is at and what I'm shopping there for.
