And it was the worst table in the place - right next to the door to the patio so that every time it opened, we got a good sniff of cigarette smoke. My Imperial Stout arrived with a small cube of chocolate. It was an interesting combination. I was still enjoying it when the nachos arrived. Um, I don't know why I chose nachos - it's not exactly a Canadian staple. I ordered a second beer and had the pizza with pulled pork and mushrooms. The beer and the pizza were quite good.

We tried the Faisant-malt (Pale Ale), Rabat-joie (Wheat/Blueberry hint), Libertine (Light Blonde), Malcommode (Hefeweizen), and loved th Must visit if you are in the area of Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean. Par contre, il y avait des nouveaux clients qui sont rentrés après nous et ils se sont faits accueillis et ont eu leur boisson. Après 12 minutes d'attente au bar, on a décidé de partir. Dommage, on a vraiment eu du plaisir hier soir et on a vraiment adoré leur bière artisanale. For the burgers, you can choose beef, lamb, deer, chicken, salmon, or veggie. After choosing your burger, you can add additional sauces, toppings, and cheese. My experience here left me somewhat disappointed. While I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere of RBB was good (modern, trendy, stylish), the service was incredibly slow. It took nearly 45 mins for my food to arrive, only for me to receive the wrong order. I ordered the veggie burger and received a beef burger instead. However, the waitress was quick to remedy this, and had the correct order within a few minutes afterwards. The food was very filling and tasted fresh. Maybe I just went here on a bad night, but if it's slow like this all the time, be prepared for a long wait. Slow service, but at least the waiters and waitresses are friendly.

This pub is a great find on Lac St-Jean. The food is great (and local), and the beer is local…read more There is live music on summer Saturday nights and beer specials and karaoke through the week. Perfectly situated on the water, you can sit in the pub, in the sunshine on the deck, or in the protected 3-season porch. Work up an appetite during the day by working out on rented bikes, surf-kites, paddle boards or kayaks. This little cafe-bistro is worth the trip.
