I don't go to barbershops to have my hair done, so I wouldn't really know how they render their services. With a name like Paquito's, though, it deserves some sort of recognition. Very classic 50s Filipino, if you like that kind of novelty. But I do remember a barbershop in this particular area. I think this is where my brother used to have his hair cut when he was a little 6year-old. He used to cry when my momma would suggest having his hair cut in a salon or a parlor with your typical ate/kuya. I believe it had something to do with solidifying his sexual orientation. He would vehemently refuse at such an atrocious suggestion. Paquito's would be his next best thing to ice cream sundaes and milkshakes. read more
