The ride itself is longer than the original and a little less realistic - I'd say the animatronics are weaker and a little more doll like, but it has some of the classic vibes and I personally thought the air quality was better than expected. It is a must do at Disneyland Paris? No. But we had Premier Access so there was no reason not to try it out and see what their version was like, so if you're in the same boat I'd definitely recommend trying it out. However all in all, if there's a wait time past 20 minutes and you've been on another version and don't have PA, I think this version could easily be skipped.

It was also a bit of a bummer for me that Disneyland Paris had no Pooh ride, but Adventureland had the best Pooh merch of all the stores we stopped into, even though you would think Fantasyland would be the place to go. Finally, the pin trading at Disneyland Paris is not to be beat. The pins are amazing, high quality and large, and trading in Adventureland was one of the highlights of our visit. All in all, Adventureland is definitely an area not to be missed if you're visiting Disneyland Paris.

The version in California is a big dark and spooky. I loved it! This one seemed to have the same level of scary. Probably not for really little kids. They might get too scared.

Overall, this is one of the rides I'd definitely recommend doing if you're from the states and visit France, as it doesn't feel like an echo, but it's own take on the classic.

From what I read because they changed the music for French audiences and this version is in Frontierland they changed the scope of the ride and felt it needed a different name. In my opinion, Phantom Manor (like most of the rides we rode at Disneyland Paris) was weaker than the original at Disneyland. It does feel slightly longer but from the music to the decor to the doom buggies, everything is just a little less magical. The best parts are the echos of the original. With Premier Pass the ride was walk on (although up a few sets of stairs), so I definitely recommend riding it if you visit, but I would keep my expectations low.

The halls were warped with swelling and bloated despair and this random 'Gypsy in a bauble' kept on conjouring a ton of issues. 1. a Wedding party where everyone danced but there was no way to get down. 2. A scary attic experience where mirrors and old boxes just got over the top for me - I was triggered too by the weeping bride. no one should be left at a make-up table crying for eternity. 3. there was scary western town that I was forced thru that only had poltergiest based gambling and sad sorrowful prostitutes who sadly had turned kelly green. Must be the lead in the mansions system. We won't book a room here again as this place just gives off heavy sad energy that grim grimming ghosts have obviously come out to socialize.

This castle is so pretty!…read more Inside you can find nostalgic scenes from Sleeping Beauty! Beautiful stained glass windows and the dragon's lair lol It's fun to go through and checkout. You see maleficent throughout the castle- because who is sleeping beauty without the evil Queen. We also saw the real maleficent at the park too!!! How awesome is that! Loved seeing the character play Maleficent. It really brought the castle to life!

Additionally, you can climb up to the second floor and walk through an exhibit with cartoon murals and stained glass on the walls. Afterwards, it leads you to the balcony where you'll get a glimpse of the park from Aurora's perspective. The kids engaging in the activity seemed to really enjoy it!
