Cover Band for Pink Floyd, Far to loud, DB meter indicated over 110 dB. Don't know if that was to make up for the bands skills, or just a poor sound guy. The theater it's self is a nice place. The Theater if they are going to continue with music need much improvement in the acoustics. The staff were very friendly! The light show the band had was good. Again the Theater needs to address how loud a performance is, if they want to sell tickets! read more

Saw Tonic Sol Fa perform here. Nice venue, but nothing stands out to me right now to set it apart from the rest.

The old Paradise Theater has been renovated and remodeled and now it is a non-profit community based center for the arts presenting, plays, musical acts, art shows and best of all, comedy! They have some awesome acts, both regional performers and national performers here. It is really a cool place to see comedy and plays as well as art reviews. They have a lot of things going on here and I really enjoy staying local and supporting this place. read more

Our mission is to create a vivid and energetic cultural center for the community and region. By showcasing regional artists and offering high-quality visual and performing arts opportunities, we enhance the quality of life for artists and art lovers throughout the region and beyond. We are committed to promoting an active interest in art and theater. We offer instruction in various art forms for both adult and child learners. We provide a venue for emerging and established artists to exhibit and perform. We expose our local and regional community to quality arts experiences.

History

Established in 1965.

For over 40 years, the Fairbauilt Art Center (now Paradise Center for the Arts) has been part of the Faribault community. Began in the 1950s by a small group of artists, FAC promoted visual arts to local artists and art lovers through classes, exhibitions, and community involvement projects. FACT also had a strong history of making theatrical performances accessible to community participants as well as patrons. There are currently three community theatre performances a year, held in the Bahl Family Auditorium. Currently, Faribault Art Center is doing business as Paradise Center for the Arts (PCA). Faribault Area Community Theater dissolved as a nonprofit organization, and is merged into the Paradise. The organizations merged their operations and finances in November of 2006. Paradise Center for the Arts functions under the Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation of Faribault Art Center, and retains its nonprofit status
