When I called here I spoke with Billie Jo and she totally explained how the service worked with the skin removing all of the dull skin and the peach fuzz hair so that you skin will glow and make up will go on flawlessly with no down time. After speaking with Billie Jo I was more than confident that I wanted her to handle this for me. Considering a blade is involved you better trust the person that is working on your skin. When I arrived at the salon Billie Jo was very welcoming and walked me back to the room to fill out a few forms. After the paperwork, I got under the comfy blanket and Billie Jo started working her magic. I was thinking that I am a good exfoliator so the whole part about getting alot of dead skin off of my face would not happen but I was wrong. Billie Jo removed quite a bit of dead skin and all of the peach fuzz. There was an addition enzyme treatment which was also very nice and smelled wonderful. After the procedure was finished she said just stay laying for a minute and take your time getting up....I'm thinking....getting up, who wants to get up. This place is absolutely awesome and Billie Jo is such a sweetheart. If you make an appointment with her you will love her.

At my last massage she mentioned we were in a different room because she was doing a barefoot massage and the poles were best for her in that particular room. Of course I had to try it and it was wonderful. I did a 90 minute massage with about 1 hour Swedish and 30 minutes barefoot. The barefoot massage felt like a deep tissue massage but better, no not better but deeper and the coverage was more all at once. It's the only way I can describe it. When Erin hit my shoulders it was like the sweet spot, I made sure to let her know too, got some extra footsie up there I believe. I can't describe how good the barefoot massage was! It's not a massage I would have regularly but it will be a specialty I'll do ever so often. Love going to Massage Theory and having Erin as my massage therapist!

They moved almost an hour away from me and expect me to drive an hour for their services. They tried to "make it right" by offering me CBD upgrade that has zero value to me and cost them next to nothing. The gift card has $390 on it and cost me $300 to get it. They told me gift cards are not refundable and they posted it on their walls. Why would they let me buy the gift card if they are going to shut down? if they didn't know... then why didn't they do the right thing by their customer that doesn't have easy access to their location? When they move locations... they are changing the terms in which i bought and intended to use the gift card. She let me know that if I would have just prepaid the service (which was never offered) instead of buying a gift card... that they refunded those. So what is the difference? It's just a way to screw over their customer. I would not give them a single penny and I never will again. I stopped in their office yesterday because it was a coincidence that I was in that area. I'm never out there and only was because I wanted to see Amelia island for my 1st time. She let on like I drove all the way out there just to ask about my gift card balance... which would be stupid considering we have phone calls. Any business that shuts their doors and then holds their customer hostage on a gift card he can't use without a huuuuuge inconvenience... is not a good business to support. They won't even make an exception when they changed the terms. I will be taking further action with this unless they fix the problem immediately. Please spend your money somewhere else unless you don't care about your own money. There are plenty of massage places to go to and don't fall for their gift card promotion scam either. Because if they decide to move to tallahassee... they won't let you know and then tell you they don't refund gift cards. So they get to keep your money. Horrible business model. Clearly does not care about their customers at all, despite the smile on their faces when you walk in. Just know... when they change the rules... it will always screw their customer over. Attorney General's office is currently looking into this for Consumer Protection.

Summary of Incident at Ulta Beauty Salon, Yulee, FL Date of…read moreInitial Visit: February 2, 2026 Location: Ulta Beauty, 463911 E State Road 200, Yulee, FL 32097 On February 2, I consulted with stylist Jessica at the Ulta Beauty salon in Yulee, FL, regarding the installation of hand-tied hair extensions. Two weeks prior, I had paid $400 at another salon to have my hair bleached blonde. I showed Jessica my blonde hair and the matching blonde extensions ($200 purchase). She scheduled an appointment for February 3 at approximately 2:00 PM and recommended toning my hair, describing it as "a touch warmer" than the extensions for a seamless match. On February 3, Jessica proceeded with the toning but accidentally applied a dark brown dye instead. Upon realizing the error after partial blow-drying, she attempted corrections: * A clarifying treatment under a heat lamp, followed by washing (ineffective). * A first bleach bath, during which she informed General Manager Jen of the issue. Jen introduced herself and promised further discussion. * A second bleach bath. After these processes, my hair emerged as a bright copper orange-red, with the original blonde color completely stripped and significant damage evident (hair snapping off). Distraught and in tears, I questioned how this occurred, emphasizing my recent $400 blonde treatment and desire only for extensions. Jessica falsely claimed I did not arrive with blonde hair, even after I presented time-stamped photos from the previous day proving otherwise. She then insisted, "That's not what you came in here with." When I suggested reviewing security cameras, Jessica walked away and did not return. Manager Jen appeared annoyed, rolled her eyes, and asked, "Ma'am, what do you want us to do?" She offered only a no-charge consultation with a senior stylist in the coming days and waived fees for the current visit. No further immediate remedies were provided, and I left with sopping wet, unfinished hair. That evening, my husband accompanied me back to the salon to request a signed written account of the incident for documentation. After a 20-minute wait, Jen claimed she felt "attacked and unsafe." We calmly requested she contact her district manager to mediate. After multiple refusals and a 45-minute delay, Jen provided a claim number (4A26022 IRCPOCO) and phone number for the claims department but did not connect us to higher management. On February 5, the salon's Experience Manager called to cancel my scheduled consultation, stating they would no longer provide services to me and that the claims center head would contact me that day. No such call was received. As of February 15, despite ample time, Ulta and its claims department have offered no communication, resolution, or compensation. My hair remains severely damaged, requiring: * $710 for new red hair extensions (to match the unintended color). * $400 for installation of the new extensions. Total Financial Impact: $1,710 ($400 prior blonde treatment + $200 original extensions + $1,110 post-incident costs directly resulting from Ulta's error). This incident involved professional negligence, false statements by staff, inadequate remediation, and poor customer service, leading to emotional distress, humiliation, and financial loss. I request full reimbursement of the costs, compensation for hair damage (including restorative treatments), and an apology. Ulta must address this promptly to prevent escalation.

At the end of my visit, I asked the check out lady about a vanilla forward fragrance and she pointed me toward Eilish. I went back into their perfume section and smelled the tester, it was exactly what I was asking her for. I bought a rollerball and I'm super pleased with it! I actually like it a lot. My mother was also asking about a lipgloss with glitter and she got one called hot chocolate that was sooo so pretty. I like this Ulta and will shop here again when I'm in Yulee! Ok.... I confess... I also bought all kinds of scrubs and body gels.... They were buy one get one 50 percent off!!! I love those too.... One was key lime scented, another was coconut, and another was vanilla! Yummy summer scents to keep fresh in this record summer heat!

I now go to smaller places like these because I find they usually do a better job. I was on Amelia Island accompanying my husband who attended a conference at the Ritz. I wanted a massage without the $300 price tag from the hotel, so I came here because of the reviews I had read and was not disappointed! I wanted a deep tissue massage to work out my knots. Danielle was wonderful and found tight knots in spots I didn't even know I had them! Whenever she found a trouble area, she spent time on it rather than just continuing the routine. That's what made it excellent! I felt so good afterwards because the tightness had dissipated. I wish I would have had time to come back to continue working on those knots and it made me realize I need to find a therapist local to me so that I can continue the treatments and get rid of those knots once and for all. Thank you Danielle, what a great massage! If I ever come back to Amelia Island, I will be sure to book another session with you.
