Just ate the last of our sweet cherries; and froze and dried our "sour" cherries. Going up this weekend for peaches (6 different kinds) and maybe apricots. Although I don't agree with their politics, that makes no difference to me. They are nice people who grow their fruit with love and wisdom. You can actually eat fruit while you pick. No chemicals to worry about here. If you cherish fresh fruit like we do, it would behoove you to pay this place a visit.

I did not drive four hours for frozen donuts so I opted for the apple cider donuts. They were not my favorite compared to other orchards that are doing apple cider donuts. They have a wonderful selection of salsa's, including raspberry salsa, which is hard to find with the high cost of raspberries. Is what this was what I was told by an employee. It was a very busy weekend and the employees seem to work very hard to keep up with the demand. I love how they put out samples of different apples and salsa even up until the last moments before closing.

The market is smaller than I imagined, but it was stacked with lots of goodies. There were samples throughout and I really enjoyed the tart cherry juice and picked up a bottle to take home. They also had blue Amish popcorn, which is a treat. I was surprised there weren't any regular restrooms but just a portable outside which an employee told me even they must use. No thank you. I guess it's too early for fresh corn even though it was sold at the market it was not from Wisconsin because it is too early. So that was a little disappointing, thinking I was getting fresh corn.
