The vet came back with the puppy said everything was great and immediately tried to push an oral supplement on me. Got the certificate , went to check out total was $128.28, when I questioned the price when I was quoted $38, for the puppy health check, she said the certificate is 38, but the comprehensive exam and the parasite test and the nail clipping is not included......SMH.....never again will I use Stateline Animal Hospital. They should be ashamed to scam people with a low cost over the phone and charge another hundred dollars!!!

After only two visits, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this vet to anyone. Upon asking others, I've heard similar complaints about the staff's attitude. Their job is to care for animals, and such rudeness is both unacceptable and appalling. This clinic has multiple signs posted on the front door, at the front desk, and in the exam rooms stating that they respect their patients and expect the same respect in return, with a clear warning that verbal or physical abuse will not be tolerated. While maintaining respect is important, the need to plaster such reminders throughout the clinic makes one wonder if the real issue lies with their staff. If guests are consistently reacting negatively, perhaps it's a reflection of how they are being spoken to and treated by the employees.

Stephanie then informed me that the dogs could not be kenneled inside do to someone/ or dog needing more space because of its medical needs. I would understand this if it was brought to my attention way in advance. we have a senior dog that has to remain inside due to random seizures and has to be watched. once we found out that she would not be keeping them inside I was able to find someone else to watch them that would keep them inside. I had cancelled my reservation for them to be dropped off today for a month and she sent a message saying she can no longer accept my animals due to it being within two hours of drop off. I am not pleased how she handled the whole situation. We had to physically contact her to make sure of our drop-off dates and times were good to go (she never once got in contact with us to check in). If you agree to something that agreement should stand, on all of her platforms she does not state a cancellation policy, so I think that that needs to be updated. Plus, she is very rude and vague when she contact us. We've had the dogs picked up before and had to wait 30 minutes to an hour waiting for someone to showed up to let us get our dogs. Dog sitting is not cheap so me paying over $1000 I would expect a little bit more.

I would give zero or even negative stars if it were possible…read more They charged me an exorbitant amount for a routine check up of 2 female German shepherds, tested them for all kinds of things I specifically asked them not to (because their medical insurance was set to begin in 2 months, and didn't cover previously diagnosed conditions). Both of my girls had already had their rabies and had already been spayed and microchipped. They called me two days later to inform me that Mina had heartworms- she is now barred from insurance covered heartworm treatment for life. They had me come the following day to pick up the very expensive antibiotics she was to be on for 30 days before her heartworm treatment was to begin. Took her to another vet to have her tested. She did not then, nor has she ever had heart worms. F*** WESTRIDGE

You want an overbooked groomer who will take 5 hours and your dog will be in a kennel for 3.5-4 hours of that time. Walked in to get her and it looked like she had been drugged. She is a mini golden doodle puppy and loves nothing more in the world than to sit on my lap and put her head out the window. She collapsed in my lap in the car ride home and wouldn't even sit up when I rolled the window down. 2. You want someone to do the exact opposite of what you ask for. Specifically said "De-mat her and trim what's necessary. PLEASE do not buzz her down like a poodle." Fortunately, she's cute & it will grow out, but definitely looks real poodle-y now. 3. You want to encounter quite possibly the most unfriendly face you've ever seen. Other than a horrendous old tax/title lady I had to work with years ago, the owner's facial expressions from the second I walked in were extremely off-putting, like she's disgusted with you for existing. I had my sister drop my pup off for me and she even said the same thing. Had I been the one to drop her off I would've taken one look at this woman's face and just left. She should NEVER work in a customer facing role, like ever. Her two assistants are her saving grace. I will personally recommend to every person I know with an animal to never go to this groomer. I could've watched a few YouTube videos and done a better job.
