The mother and her two (grown) sons are so pleasant you can tell they just have a love for animals. They were able to fit her in for daycare without an appointment they even were able to give her a bath. They have an indoor playroom and a decent size yard. They have a pet shop with some adorable accessories, toys, etc for pets. Izzie got her 1st bling today, a gorgeous crystal encrusted B.B. Simon collar. Apparently, she's happy and had a great day at daycare because after only 4 hours at Prancing Paws, she passed out cold on my lap. Stephanie then informed me that the dogs could not be kenneled inside do to someone/ or dog needing more space because of its medical needs. I would understand this if it was brought to my attention way in advance. we have a senior dog that has to remain inside due to random seizures and has to be watched. once we found out that she would not be keeping them inside I was able to find someone else to watch them that would keep them inside. I had cancelled my reservation for them to be dropped off today for a month and she sent a message saying she can no longer accept my animals due to it being within two hours of drop off. I am not pleased how she handled the whole situation. We had to physically contact her to make sure of our drop-off dates and times were good to go (she never once got in contact with us to check in). If you agree to something that agreement should stand, on all of her platforms she does not state a cancellation policy, so I think that that needs to be updated. Plus, she is very rude and vague when she contact us. We've had the dogs picked up before and had to wait 30 minutes to an hour waiting for someone to showed up to let us get our dogs. Dog sitting is not cheap so me paying over $1000 I would expect a little bit more.

I will state that the care, services, veterinarians, and staff is the most pleasant and professional organization I have ever encountered. They truly love the animals and take every effort to solve all medical and boarding issues with the tender care any pet owner would desire. They respond to 24 hour problems and their boarding facility is the cleanest and best in the area. The front office staff, dog care personnel and doctors could not be more pleasant and professional. I love this place. It is probably the best in the entire country.

Both of my girls had already had their rabies and had already been spayed and microchipped. They called me two days later to inform me that Mina had heartworms- she is now barred from insurance covered heartworm treatment for life. They had me come the following day to pick up the very expensive antibiotics she was to be on for 30 days before her heartworm treatment was to begin. Took her to another vet to have her tested. She did not then, nor has she ever had heart worms. F*** WESTRIDGE

I was told at pickup that it was a small, superficial nick that did not require stitches or glue. He also had on and was gifted the sweater that you see in the message screenshots stating, "it was too cold for him outside" but after I realized that was just a tactic to cover up his wounds. Unfortunately, after bringing him home and discovering the wound(s) and then following the exact aftercare instructions (bandaging and antibacterial ointment) provided by the groomer/ owner, Christine, the wounds) worsened and eventually opened significantly. When I contacted the groomer with photos and concerns, the response(s) were focused on blaming me and how the wound was managed rather than acknowledging that the injury occurred during the appointment. Which was extremely distasteful and disappointing. While I completely understand that grooming older or anxious dogs can be challenging, how a "business" responds after a very unfortunate situation like this happens speaks volumes. Accountability and professionalism matter. I was disappointed by the extreme lack of accountability and empathy in this situation. I cannot recommend this groomer based on how this situation was handled. If you choose to book here, I recommend closely inspecting your pet and documenting everything before and after your appointment; and to ask detailed questions if any injury occurs during grooming. 3 weeks later plus a veterinarian bill and he is still bandaged with wounds trying to heal and wearing a very uncomfortable cone with also the possibility of needing surgery if he is unable to heal on his right arm.
