Our first Poké Bowl.. definitely delicious!! My only complaint is the servers each have different amounts. My husband has far much veggies on his. But delicious, fresh food! Loved the tuna!

My favourite Poké bowl place in Ottawa. Lots of options to choose from along with a build your own option. Poké bowls are reasonably priced for the amount you get. The actual place itself has a super adorable aesthetic. Always super busy around lunch hours but definitely worth it.

Friendly service. The place is cute but pretty uncomfortable to eat in there if it's busy. And it was pretty busy that day. Food was great. Seemed fresh. The place itself was clean. Lots of choices of ingredients. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I had the tuna poke bowl and it was good. Had some left over and it was still good a few hours later

Absolutely loved this place. It's got a really great aesthetic, play great music and the staff is super friendly. All of this comes together to create a fun and trendy atmosphere. The food was delicious and I'm already thinking about going back for more. I had a smoothie bowl and my friend had a poke bowl and we both loved our choices and their housemade iced tea was nice too. There's lots of options for customization and the prices are decent. I'll absolutely be coming back.

If you want to find a quick and healthy bowl for lunch, this is the place. Nothing special, but they make a good poke.

Just awful service. No acai bowls at lunch, are you kidding?! Nice Hawaiian decor though.

When I think back on my work trip to Ottawa, the meal I will remember most fondly is the avocado toast I had here. It was hearty, flavorful, and covered in feta cheese. Scrump! The blueberry oat pancakes were also divine - a very indulgent breakfast served with REAL maple syrup. The service was off-the-charts NICE! The hostess and waiters were smiley and the just the right level of attentive. I felt like a very metropolitan corporate woman as I cracked open my laptop to "get some work done" - but I was seated right up against a window and couldn't resist the distraction of watching the snow fall from the winter sky while sipping cup after cup of hot coffee. Daly's was a delight on every count.

Our server was friendly, and she also gave great advice on the menu and portion sizes. I ordered the Eggs Benedict (a staple for me whenever it's on a menu) and it was delicious. It's a pretty big portion, so come hungry! The ambiance is nothing special, though we did get to sit by the window so we had a nice view of the canal. Prices also seemed reasonable for a hotel breakfast spot. There's nothing special about this place necessarily, but it is a great breakfast spot if you're staying at the hotel!

This place has the most fascinating mixture of items on the menu to order from. It offers bubble tea. You can also get dim sum, which includes dumplings, har gow, siu mai, steamed custard buns, and spring rolls. In other words, it caters to folks like me who crave all these items all the time. The menu also offers sushi rice bowls. I don't know if it's exclusively Pomelo Hat offerings or if it's under Kiramaki's menu. Kiramaki Sushi shares the same space with Pomelo Hat. This store truly has everything I want and love. It's awesome. Here's the best part. Pomelo Hat has sparkling butterfly pea spritzer. OMG! I absolutely love drinks with bubbles. I didn't have to look any further. I got the tropical sunset butterfly pea sparkling spritzer with coconut jelly. Starbucks, eat your heart out with that drink name! My drink came in one size: large. I got it with less ice and no sugar (it's called minimal sweet here). My friend was kind to take me here, so the least that I could do was get the tab on her bubble tea. She chose a regular strawberry green tea QQ. She could have ordered every topping available on the menu, but she had composure and didn't break my bank. It's funny. I was so into taking photos of my drink with the various plant backdrops at this place that I completely forgot about my bag that I had left here. Oops! Luckily, we were only a few blocks away and nobody wanted my stuff. Technically, we dropped by twice this day. There is bar seating by the window. It's a fairly small space that it's more of a fetch-and-go place. We continued taking photos of our drinks outside. We then walked, sat, and chatted. My drink was so good. It was bubbly and cheerful. It had a cantaloupe base with a subtle sweetness to it. The coconut jelly provided a nice chewy contrast. My drink was so good and perfect on a hot summer day. My friend enjoyed her drink. With QQ drinks, they come with tapioca and your choice of any jelly. I thought that the flexibility was nice. We tend to take our bubble tea the same way, so she went no sugar and less ice, too. I never got around to coming back to try the dim sum. I had been craving dumplings during my vacation and other establishments that I had frequented satisfied that ongoing want. I'll need to come back here and give its all-day dim sum menu a try. This place is on Fantuan. I hope it still is when I come back for more. I loved my bubble tea. I have the lychee rose lemonade sparkling butterfly pea spritzer left to try before I branch into the non-sparkling teas. (264)

Friendly service, great food, but best to pop in for as there isn't much in the way of seating. My favourite drink there is the Yuzu Ginger Seltzer boba which is absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS. Fresh lemon slices and bits of candied ginger mixed in. Absolutely delightful. I love you Pomelo Hat!!!!!!

1 star for treatment…read more I used to go this place, celebrated birthdays & friends' reunions when their location was on Clarence and then on York St. Those time, they had friendly & welcoming staff. But, when I got hit on the hand by the metal pole of their flying patio umbrella (not bolted down or affixed to their patio table), I was dismissed ('there's nothing wrong with your hand') & told to just google their information because they don't have a business card, there's no manager or person in charge on the premises yet there were 3 women from the café who avoided my request for contact information. They did offer ice in a bag BUT only after much insisting that I'd like to speak to someone in charge of the café. Again, I was dismissed and told that there's no responsibility to be had because it was an accident and that I should leave the premises because I was causing a scene since I ended up crying because my hand was hurting. The security camera of the Byward Market building across the street caught the whole hit incident (June 16).

It was also a little too cold such that the icing was too firm. I should have snapped a picture of the cracked side of the cake, which is a clear sign that something's not right.
