Surgery: Full hysterectomy w/ reserve of ovaries Laparoscopic - 4 incisions w/ one being through the belly button *1 in 4 cases, I'm the 1 in 4- removed adhesions, intestines from uterus and intestinal barrier flap prior to beginning No endometriosis found Ovaries looked healthy (did over cut nor remove wasn't necessary) Reserved my nerves Checked on me during my hospital stay! :) I stayed in the hospital 2 days- I recommend 3. *Call your insurance and get it approved, do not rely on the surgery scheduling team. *ENSURE all allergies are notated on your doctor's orders. Terrible! Was not welcomed at all. The front desk girl looked at me and said "I will be with you in…read morea moment". How hard is it to say hi or hello? Then she proceeds to tell me I owe over $100 for my first appointment. I said and how was that calculated? She said you have a high deductible; will you be paying with card? I said this is a lot of money and she goes "I'm sorry" in the most condescending tone. I finally get called back 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment. That didn't bother me I'm in the medical field. The only good part was the MA that took me back. The provider was literally with me for 5 minutes. She didn't care; I was just a number to her. Fast forward to today, I asked for an itemized bill and the office can't provide me one. I said why was I charged over $100. They said it was an "estimated" charge and I "may" owe that amount. I asked for a refund, of course they won't respond now. Don't go here unless you have a lot of money.
