Alex and his crew were efficient, careful, communicative, quick and courteous. Alex met with me to discuss the project, which entailed installing a drainage system, removing a tree stump, building a retaining wall and replacing some dangerous steps with new safer ones. He made suggestions but also really listened and addressed any questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. Midway through the drainage system installation, he pointed out a place where I had some dry rot that should be repaired before they finished the work. Alex was flexible and waited to hear back from me that my repairs were done before coming back to complete his work. I'm so grateful for that, and also that we caught the issue before more damage had been done! The retaining wall and grading look great as do the rock work, drainage system and new concrete steps. All was completed in just 1-1/2 days, and for a very fair price. As an added bonus, the driveway and parking pad benefitted from extra gravel, including Alex and his team moving a heavy trailer to freshen up the area underneath with new stone. Alex is a can do person! He answered my call and met with me on a Sunday at my property. I was blown away because his yelp reviews were outstanding so I thought he might be hard to get an appointment with. My job wasn't a usual job for his company, a sprinkler system replacement and clean up with several loads of topsoil. He also rebuilt and added on to the rock wall that was needing repair. He said his guys could start the next day on Monday and be done by Wednesday, they had a large job they were starting. Needless to say I was thrilled! The head of the Paradise View landscaping team, Alex, interviewed with us around 30 days before we actually had the work completed. We had called a total of 3 companies. Alex is the only one that actually came to see the job, measure it out, review what our needs are, left a written bid. The other two where to busy for this job and did not take the time to show up. We called him back shortly and we talked over pricing. He met our price and was told it would be around 60 days for his crew to come and start the job. Around 24 hrs. later, I got a call, "I have a surprise for you, we can be there tomorrow!!!" They said they will be here at 6:30 AM all ten of them, and they where. They worked as a team to complete this large job, two walk ways and a four step walk down, with them using there flash lights to actually finish this job, clean up the property apply the seal coat and worked until it was done at 9:30 pm that night. I first learned about Paradise View Landscaping when I was doing research on landscapers that already had experience working within Lake of the Pines.
