What a delightful place. Not stuffy at all. Feels like a local watering hole but not a dive bar…read more Stellar cocktail menu with fascinating background into history and recipes. Be ready to make friends, the menu literally tells you to and people act on it. Bartenders are friends and fellow patrons just as friendly.

The bar is small, unassuming and finds itself on a street filled with conspicuous, Italian restaurants hosting happy hours for corporate Swedes. The bar is a standout for the drinks, the trademark Swedish charisma and genuine warmth. As a side, shout out to Sweden for having the nicest, most welcoming people in the world. We were given a standing table when we got in, but quickly moved to a couple of seats by the bar. We were one of 8 couples at the bar, so yes, very date night vibes. For our first round of drinks, we got the Easy Martini and Let them Eat Cake. The latter was too sweet for our liking but the Easy Martini had the perfect amount of sweet and tart. Our second round was the winner with the Girl Dinner and their Old Fashioned. The Girl dinner was crafted to perfection and possibly the best version of a martini we've ever had. The old fashioned too, made with WhistlePig 10 years was fantastic. The service cannot be faulted, we profusely thanked the lovely bartender, vowing to crow about it to whoever cares to listen and to be back when we are in Stockholm next.

Incredible food, delicious cocktails, and friendly staff - I highly recommend this restaurant…read more Tjoget used to be on the World's Top 50 bars list - and for good reason. The cocktails are out of this world good, boasting unique flavor profiles and a lot of depth in each one. My personal favorites were the "Drink Your Greens" and "Piccadilly Circus" cocktails. The food is also great. You can't go wrong with anything, but I favor the Saganaki, Tzatziki, and Sea Bass dishes. Last but certainly not least, the staff is extremely friendly, and the environment is warm and inviting while also remaining chic and sophisticated. If it's a nice day, snag a table outside and watch the young hip crowd stroll by.

We got there right after it opened (noon on a Saturday) so we can have a drink before our lunch reservation. The bar was really empty at that time (perfect)! We mentioned to the bartender what type of drinks we liked and he suggested that I try something fruity and semi strong. I totally forgot the name of the drink but please refer to the picture showing a drink in pink. I loved the very bit of my drink and I could totally see myself having another! My friend had the salted caramel (as she enjoys whiskey based drink) and it was very smooth and tasty! Definitely make time to visit this bar during your visit and sit by the bar to learn about the story behind their drinks!!

But it all have its price, and at this premium located spot, you will pay its price, and you will be happy about it, even though you wont get any gold. It can get pretty crowded later on, so be there in time, to secure your night in glam. A perfect place to start off your night at, or drop in for a cocktail. The atmosphere is great and the ceiling height among with all the other details, will give you the classiness you deserve. Biggest con is that sofas and armchairs provide you too great comfort, so great, that you might end up sitting here all night. Sit down, have a drink, enjoy...

We got a nice chair to sit & very good professional service, they come to your table, take your order & bring your drink to the table. It was perfect for a chat & a drink with a friend. Music is neither too loud nor too crazy ( lounge music) & you get a decent chair to sit & keep your honor (by not having to crowd others in a cramped space at the bar & stretch half way to the other side of the bar to get the bar tender's attention!) The crowd is pretty mixed, there were mature & middle aged people, very young(20+) groups & some couples. If you are looking for somewhere to have a drink & chat (& be able to hear each other!) this is really nice place.
