Simple stuff like empty trash cans in bathrooms didnt happen. Still finding missed stuff. I was on a call when the "finished" and basically hustled out before I could fully look around. As for the process. They Sea Turtle ph# doesn't work. They only chat thru Yelp. I asked for Phone calls and only got Elaine who said she was just the cleaner not the manager. Would not give me the manager ph#. I sent Elaine the photos of what was missed and she never replied. Not even a sorry we missed that. I kept asking for a phone call via the yelp chat to discuss but they they won't call. I would not have posted a review if they would of called like people who care about their business. Big scam. Do not use. $180 for 2 people for 1.5hr is way too much for a 80% empty 2 bed condo, especially when the they didn't do a good job. Mad I fell for the scam but needed a cleaning done fast. Update and response to owner's comment: "expecting that we can complete what you want in 2 hours for a home your size is impossible and unrealistic" Did you READ my review? - I very clearly said, prepared and acted and reacted in a way that IN NO WAY expected a complete cleaning, I cut the work area in half for the maids arrival and again when i saw how hard they were working. I absolutely understand what could be accomplished in 2 hours. However I DID NOT ask them to stay longer and they did because they weren't keeping track of the time and you didn't tell me that customers are responsible for micromanaging your employees. YOU ATTEMPTED to charge me beyond the agreed upon rate. DO NOT PUT WORDS in my mouth in an attempt to defend yourself. Have some integrity and take responsibility for the fact that I ordered 2 hours at $130/hour and when the maids were done you attempted to charge me $320 WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION. Today it's a 2. I live a robust yet scattered life and not much about it is routine. After some self realization that I couldn't do it all, I asked for help. I used a few local cleaning services but realized they didn't actually know how to clean. I saw Molly Maids in Val-pak and they came out and gave a price for the initial service and then monthly. The cost seemed high, but they are trained, insured etc etc and I've got a big house with 50 projects going on so all told the value i got was worth the cost. I didn't realize after the first monthly cleaning that i was part of a scheduled day each month and then 3 days before my 3rd cleaning got about 17 messages about an upcoming cleaning i had no idea about (but it's actually a good thing for many to get into a monthly routine) and because I was working that I had to reschedule and that's when I learned about skipping a month. So I had to skip again this summer and was told that because I skipped that I would have to pay hourly for my next visit not the monthly rate. So I said put me down for 2 hours. The maids came and i confirmed the 2 hour job. I restricted the areas to be cleaned because of less time (although they never spent more than 3 house in the past). After a while and noticing they were doing very well but the dusting was taking longer than I anticipated. So I shortened the list again to just 1 of the 4 bedrooms and 1 of the 4 bathrooms, no music room/den, no office, no laundry room, floor and fan only in kitchen... When the maids were ready to leave they gave me an invoice for my monthly rate which was about 25% more than i expected. I got on the phone with the office and I explained that I ordered 2 hours and didn't realize I was responsible for keeping track of time and if they went a bit longer I didn't ask for that and I also kept cutting areas. But I wasn't looking for free services. All of a sudden the cost shot up ridiculously and then they decided to charge me more than my monthly by $5. I said to cancel all upcoming appointments. I have challenges enough running my own affairs that I shouldn't have to micromanage an agreement that I confirmed when the service started. While expensive, the actual cleaning service has been well done. Response from the owner an hour ago Mrs. Gottesman, thank you for your feedback. We did an in-home estimate with you and provided a written in-home estimate that you agreed to have services every 4 weeks and the rate for that service is $320.00 for a home as large as yours. The fixed pricing is given only for recurring appointments done Weekly, biweekly, 3 weeks and 4 weeks only. Beyond the 4-week service, the service becomes occasional and is done hourly at the current rate. This was clearly explained to you when you rescheduled and when you choose to prioritize the service it will definitely take longer than normal. Additionally, expecting that we can complete what you want in 2 hours for a home your size is impossible and unrealistic considering we have not cleaned your home in 3 months, because you skipped the scheduled appointments and the initial clean took 6 hours!
