I have a lot of really good things to say about Dr Weiss. The reasons that I have given her a less…read morethan stellar rating are mainly the practice where she works and the people on her staff. 1. My wife and I both find the front office staff rude and abrupt to the point of being alienating. They have been this way more or less for the 2 years we have been going to this office. We feel hesitant to even go into the office given this belligerent attitude. 2. It is very difficult to get an appointment unless it's an emergency and then they can get you in the same day but not necessarily with Dr Weiss. You can wait up to three months to get an appointment for a physical. The office continually recommends you see a nurse instead of Dr Weiss due to her schedule. What is the point of having a primary care physician if they continue to try and schedule you with some other person? 3. On a recent appointment I was suppose to see Dr Weiss - according to the front desk - but the doctor had left by the time I arrived on time for the appointment. Instead I saw a nurse practitioner and she basically said she couldn't find anything wrong with me but if my symptoms persisted I should get a chest x-ray and to call the office to schedule. After continuing to feel bad I called the office to arrange for an x-ray but they gave me the run around and never bothered to call me back that day. I eventually went to see another doctor and he properly diagnosed me very quickly. Also, the staff and nurses at this new office were very professional and friendly. Dr Weiss is a very good doctor but surrounded by less than professional staff. I also think she needs to do something about her schedule - what is the point of having a primary care physician if you cant see her? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am adding to this review after another unpleasant experience with Dr Weiss' office. I asked the office staff to send me my medical records on a jumpdrive so I could give them to my new physician. They did so - but they sent it to the WRONG address, an address I haven't lived at for over 5 months. What is it with these people? Now my medical information is god knows where. Again, if you haven't heard enough to avoid this office totally I would just be careful going forward.

She understands that a patient KNOWS their body and she listens to you from that perspective. She has NEVER thought I was crazy, or a drug addict, or a faker. I have referred friends to her who were in the same position as I was; ready to give up, frustrated, and tired of being dismissed. I can honestly say that Dr. Siegel is THE BEST, most caring, most competent, most intelligent and funniest rheumatologist in the entire state. If she moved her practice out of state, I would find a way to see her. I never want another rheumatologist to handle my care. Also, her long time medical assistant Shannon is AMAZING! She always listens and does everything possible to help me, even when she is swamped. I couldn't imagine Dr. Siegel having any other assistant. The rest of the onsite team I interacted with was terrific too - warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, efficient - all around great experience. Had a follow-up appt today via zoom. Again - great experience. Your model works great for me as I travel quite a bit and being able to get care in different locations in person, via app or video call is super important to me. Everyone knows who you are after only a couple of visits. All appointments are followed up by a thorough report on their site. I had an after hours issue that I reported by phone. Similarly, about 3 years ago when I first met Dr. Anderson, she diagnosed sleep apnea when it was missed for the 7 prior years by a neurologist and 2 previous primary care physicians. I prefer Dr. Anderson's Skokie office location; where her staff are warm and helpful at getting tests approved or expedited.

I've turned my around and I'm writing a book and I'm really healthy so willing to see I would be fine with that. I get a call from her that she can no longer see me because I'm too healthy and I won't be a good fit for her because she believes in and pills have you ever heard of a doctor turning down a patient that turned their health around his healthy and is no longer needing all of those ? My advice is to run as fast as you can from this doctor or maybe you should question all of your drugs that she has you on if they are really truly necessary this needs to be brought to everybody's attention because she does not deserve her 4.3 stars because the truth of the matter is, she wants sick patients to push fill her pockets with money. Please get a second opinion and never trust somebody that doesn't see their patience get healthy. Our system is rotten to the core.

I suffered from chronic sinus infections that were just crazy. I went to Dr. Miller expecting the usual script and and a co-pay but what a pleasant surprise I got. He was so thorough and detail oriented that he asked questions that seemed out of sync with the routine I had experienced elsewhere. He asked about my lifestyle, my pillows, my diet, well you get it....and he LISTENED. I actually now understand why doctor's corporations are called SC for "service corporations". He was providing his Medical Services. He wasn't doing me a favor by seeing me. I was giving him an opportunity to practice medicine. Lightbulb, aaahhhhh moment. Did I mention he went to Harvard Medical School. Matters not unless they teach you human compassion there. Not only did he cure that malady, he cured me of pretty much everything and during the course of a general conversation, he discovered a something that several other doctors had dismissed or negelected. Under his care and direction, I have been treated as a person, not a number and put on a path to wellness. He had given me guidance and referals that have changed my life. When I had a rough patch health wise, he was my go to guy and Dr. Miller got me through a series of unrelated, untimely and unfortunate health issues. We've since kind of broken up because he made me all better, so much so that I don't really need to see him much anymore. Not that I mind. But you know what I mean. I have refered countless people to him and each and every one raves. He moved from the city to Northbrook which is a hike, but his demeanor, candor and knowledge are worth every second on the Edens. He is kind, gentle, caring and concerned. Dr. Miller is the first physician I have encountered that practices the art of healing. How refreshing.On their website it says under his philosphy "Dr. Miller believes in a strong patient-doctor relationship and working with patients to optimize their health care" Understatement of the year. And lets not forget the support staff, Janie, his nurse. Can you say loveable and sweet. And efficient and kind. And accommodating and warm. Yep, worth every second on the Edens and then some!

AND he gave me an electronic prescription I sent to the pharmacy without ever picking up the phone. Anyway, technology aside, an excellent PCP.
