My apparently was today 2-2-26 at 2pm. Apparently they open at 9 am and I get a call at 10:30 saying there is no doctor there that day (yet when I scheduled that day there was in fact a doctor going to be there) so you are telling me you don't know that your doctor isn't going to be there until the day of? Seems pretty lacking in organization to me. And quite ridiculous that they didn't replace the doctor and expect me to change my appointment time that I've had for MONTHS. I will not be going back to this establishment. I will find a new doctor if I have too. That is actually ridiculous that I'm called 4 hours before my appointment saying I need to reschedule day of or come in early because they can't do their jobs. If your doctors call off a day that is your job to call all clients that day BEFORE THE DAY OF?!?! To tell them they are off. And ask to reschedule. The day they take off would be a nice start to call the people who have done their part to make an appointment.

We drove to Northwestern down the street and were seen immediately. Good thing, too, as this situation wound up needing to be escalated to the ER. If we had waited around at North shore, who knows what might have happened. Also, at north shore there's never anyone to answer the phone. At northwestern, you can get a human on the phone quickly.

Was all explained kindly to me. When I got in, Dr Ziemann spent a lot of time with me to understand what is going on. She's down to earth, compassionate. The office has online access for test results, appointments, and a way to. contact my Dr. I had a question about my results and Dr Ziemann was quick to respond. The front office and nurses all very nice and helpful and kind. They can do own blood tests there so no need to go to 3rd party blood test company.

I suffered from chronic sinus infections that were just crazy. I went to Dr. Miller expecting the usual script and and a co-pay but what a pleasant surprise I got. He was so thorough and detail oriented that he asked questions that seemed out of sync with the routine I had experienced elsewhere. He asked about my lifestyle, my pillows, my diet, well you get it....and he LISTENED. I actually now understand why doctor's corporations are called SC for "service corporations". He was providing his Medical Services. He wasn't doing me a favor by seeing me. I was giving him an opportunity to practice medicine. Lightbulb, aaahhhhh moment. Did I mention he went to Harvard Medical School. Matters not unless they teach you human compassion there. Not only did he cure that malady, he cured me of pretty much everything and during the course of a general conversation, he discovered a something that several other doctors had dismissed or negelected. Under his care and direction, I have been treated as a person, not a number and put on a path to wellness. He had given me guidance and referals that have changed my life. When I had a rough patch health wise, he was my go to guy and Dr. Miller got me through a series of unrelated, untimely and unfortunate health issues. We've since kind of broken up because he made me all better, so much so that I don't really need to see him much anymore. Not that I mind. But you know what I mean. I have refered countless people to him and each and every one raves. He moved from the city to Northbrook which is a hike, but his demeanor, candor and knowledge are worth every second on the Edens. He is kind, gentle, caring and concerned. Dr. Miller is the first physician I have encountered that practices the art of healing. How refreshing.On their website it says under his philosphy "Dr. Miller believes in a strong patient-doctor relationship and working with patients to optimize their health care" Understatement of the year. And lets not forget the support staff, Janie, his nurse. Can you say loveable and sweet. And efficient and kind. And accommodating and warm. Yep, worth every second on the Edens and then some!

I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Kirley (and her office associates.) Its been a long time since I was so impressed by a physician. I'd kind of given up on medicine being anything but a brief exchange of fees for services.To give you an idea of how diligent she is when I told her I was going to transfer the care of my adult son (who has multiple disabilities) to her she asked to have his chart so she could take it home to read thoroughly. Dr. Kirley returns phone calls and emails promptly and has even helped with insurance issues, convincing specialists to see me despite their distaste with my insurance plan. I strongly suggest that if you are looking for a primary care doc check out Dr. K. or any of her associates at this location.
