I am always on the go traveling, working, exercising, and out and about. I need these massages every few weeks to reset my body and heal. Toby is absolutely fantastic and pays great attention to where my most sensitive pressure points are and helps fix them. The vibes at the Center for Higher Living create a peaceful environment making it easy to let go and get into the state needed to fully relax. Def will need to look at all the programs for wellness offered here since the space is definitely one to do things like yoga and holistic programs. I will absolutely be back for more appointments, especially with Toby who is caring and attentive to his clients.

I had a "rapid-induction" session with Ms. Mrotek that left me feeling incredibly relaxed. In the past couple of weeks since my session, I've noticed a huge reduction in sleep disturbances. I've been a long time sufferer of restless leg syndrome, which has significantly decreased since hypnosis. I came into the session hoping to work on a specific area, which is confidence during singing performance. Just a few minutes ago, I left a successful recording session-- but it didn't start out that way! I was developing an increasingly painful and distracting headache, something that often comes up when the pressure is on and I'm recording in an unfamiliar environment. About an hour in, I decided to start " tapping"-using the EFT (emotional freedom technique) Helen Kathryn Mrotek introduced to our session. And something amazing happened! My headache abated and I was able to deliver a strong, emotional performance that just exploded forth from no where. I felt incredibly connected to the words, the music, and my body. The end result was exactly what it needed to be. I am eager to experience more of this powerful work with my amazingly effective hypnotherapist!

I was first referred to Jim by a program I was in at the time. So I would like to make it clear…read morethat this review is not meant to be reflective upon Jim, or any of the different people who work here. Jim was booked fully, but he "assured" me he had another person at his office who would "meet" my healthcare needs. This person was Erica Cahn. Well, stupid me; I trusted that blind referral. Erica was rude and condescending, consistently. Their office never picks up the phone when you call and never calls you back; but they expect you to pick up the phone the second they call. Erica would cancel appointments nearly once a month, and would also regularly show up quite late or leave the session quite early; at least every other session. She began sharing personal life information with my conservator at the time that was not in correlation to my health whatsoever; and frequently, weekly, without telling me, after I asked multiple times for her not to, and how it was negatively impacting my home life. Things like who I was hanging out with or talking to. Things that were not in correlation whatsoever to my HEALTHCARE. When I asked about this she smugly said "you have a conservatorship" and laughed at me. Laughed in my face. A conservatorship is for issues that are DIRECTLY related to my healthcare or my finances, not for telling my conservator personal life details that did not have ANYTHING to do with my healthcare; whatsoever. This woman is FAR from professional. She is rude. She will hinder your ability to make progress instead of help you. A therapist who tells you how important it is to respect boundaries while not respecting any of her clients boundaries one bit; now, isn't that paradoxical! How she conducts her "therapy" is not conducive to recovery; in any sense. It has been close to 6 months and she has flat out refused to provide me with my healthcare documents, still to this day after asking multiple times. Do not trust this person to help you. I have made more progress in 6 months with my new therapist than I did in 3 whole years here. If your care is important, I would stay far away from this place. This is not how you interact with people you're supposed to help. This was one of the worst decisions in my life that I have ever made was to come to this place; be forewarned. She also made me feel absolutely horrible about me having tonic-clonic seizure episodes regularly, she would accuse; not ask; she would accuse me of drug use and alcohol use because I have a history of it in the past. I didn't seek care from neurologists because she said that I didn't have to if I wasn't born with a seizure disorder that it was "IMPOSSIBLE" for me to develop one. She completely ignored the fact I had a TBI in 2018 resulting in complete loss on consciousness, multiple fractures in my head and face, and a severe concussion, I had immediate emergency surgery for this when it happened. I ended up seeing a neurologist and having MRIs and EEGs done and they determined the seizures to be non substance related. I had to be put on seizure medication. They said absolutely that I could develop a seizure disorder. This was my last straw. She never apologized for how she made me feel about having a seizure disorder. This place is BAD, BAD NEWS. STEER VERY CLEAR OF ADVANCED TREATMENT SOLUTIONS; ESPECIALLY ERICA CAHN.
