Initially when this began, she told me we could talk about this next session after I had told her I did not want to go back in. Interesting response considering the severity of the situation. After 12 days of hearing nothing else from her, I called Randi, the owner, and it was my first time talking to her. I thought this was something that should be reported. She brushes it off and tells me the only thing she can tell me is to talk to my therapist. It wasn't until I told Randi that I wanted to report them both to the state that she started asking me what she could do to help me. She's gaslighting me saying this is part of the work, do you really want to throw it all away, you've been seeing her for over a year. Repeatedly encouraging me to stay with this therapist. Are you kidding me?? This is absolutely not part of the work ever, I spent years in therapy and this has never happened. And making that decision to leave was not easy at all. But you shouldn't be feeling worse after a year of therapy twice a week. I've never had such an experience from licensed mental health professionals that left me feeling like my life is worthless. I'm sure Randi will have some self-assured comment gaslighting me and writing how she cares and disagrees that this wasn't being taken seriously. I was begging for help and they see nothing wrong with this. The worst part is the fact that so much time had passed while my therapist knew and it wasn't concerning in the slightest that I didnt show up for the next three appointments? What exactly was it that showed this was being taken seriously? I understand I have to deal with things on my own but this by far was not a regular occurrence with things being this bad. They can say whatever they want, I have the emails to show otherwise. I also saw Kate LeBlanc for medication for a very short time and stopped because she is also an extremely irresponsible provider. She told me I'm the most disrespectful patient she's had, and I'm sure I was and everyone else would agree. I have multiple disorders that severely affect me and I was extremely overwhelmed and barely medicated. I thought you were pretty horrible too. My new psychiatrist is absolutely amazing and told me I'm the patient and under no circumstances should that have been said. My psychiatrist now tells me it's okay if I get upset and we can talk through it. Being Kate's patient was like talking to a brick wall and I didn't feel like she listened to me at all or had a lot of patience. My experience with my current doctor has really opened my eyes with how awful this entire place is. You should really be careful with what you say to patients in a mental health setting. This entire place does not care about safety at all. They're extremely irresponsible and nowhere near qualified enough to treat people with complex needs and disorders.

I was first referred to Jim by a program I was in at the time. So I would like to make it clear…read morethat this review is not meant to be reflective upon Jim, or any of the different people who work here. Jim was booked fully, but he "assured" me he had another person at his office who would "meet" my healthcare needs. This person was Erica Cahn. Well, stupid me; I trusted that blind referral. Erica was rude and condescending, consistently. Their office never picks up the phone when you call and never calls you back; but they expect you to pick up the phone the second they call. Erica would cancel appointments nearly once a month, and would also regularly show up quite late or leave the session quite early; at least every other session. She began sharing personal life information with my conservator at the time that was not in correlation to my health whatsoever; and frequently, weekly, without telling me, after I asked multiple times for her not to, and how it was negatively impacting my home life. Things like who I was hanging out with or talking to. Things that were not in correlation whatsoever to my HEALTHCARE. When I asked about this she smugly said "you have a conservatorship" and laughed at me. Laughed in my face. A conservatorship is for issues that are DIRECTLY related to my healthcare or my finances, not for telling my conservator personal life details that did not have ANYTHING to do with my healthcare; whatsoever. This woman is FAR from professional. She is rude. She will hinder your ability to make progress instead of help you. A therapist who tells you how important it is to respect boundaries while not respecting any of her clients boundaries one bit; now, isn't that paradoxical! How she conducts her "therapy" is not conducive to recovery; in any sense. It has been close to 6 months and she has flat out refused to provide me with my healthcare documents, still to this day after asking multiple times. Do not trust this person to help you. I have made more progress in 6 months with my new therapist than I did in 3 whole years here. If your care is important, I would stay far away from this place. This is not how you interact with people you're supposed to help. This was one of the worst decisions in my life that I have ever made was to come to this place; be forewarned. She also made me feel absolutely horrible about me having tonic-clonic seizure episodes regularly, she would accuse; not ask; she would accuse me of drug use and alcohol use because I have a history of it in the past. I didn't seek care from neurologists because she said that I didn't have to if I wasn't born with a seizure disorder that it was "IMPOSSIBLE" for me to develop one. She completely ignored the fact I had a TBI in 2018 resulting in complete loss on consciousness, multiple fractures in my head and face, and a severe concussion, I had immediate emergency surgery for this when it happened. I ended up seeing a neurologist and having MRIs and EEGs done and they determined the seizures to be non substance related. I had to be put on seizure medication. They said absolutely that I could develop a seizure disorder. This was my last straw. She never apologized for how she made me feel about having a seizure disorder. This place is BAD, BAD NEWS. STEER VERY CLEAR OF ADVANCED TREATMENT SOLUTIONS; ESPECIALLY ERICA CAHN.

The report that they made is filled with inaccuracies. Strongly suspect that the report was modified at DCF request as it bears so little resemblance to verbal report given at end of sessions. If you fall into DCF purview, do NOT allow them to force you to use this therapist.
