My friend and I decided to check out this neighborhood after a friend recommended it. It was…read moresupposed to rain, so we chose to hang out in Barry Higgel's for a few hours. The barista greeted us first in Czech, then English. As my friend and I do not speak Czech, this was extremely helpful. I got a chai latte that was one of the best I've ever had, and my friend got cold brew. We also bought a brownie and slice of banana bread to split. Everything was delicious. The coffee shop itself had a very minimal, yet welcoming atmosphere. A lot of locals came in and out, which is always a good sign. There is free WiFi. I'd highly recommend checking out this place if you'd like a cup of coffee away from all the tourists in other parts of the city.
