Our first project was replacing siding that had water damage on a two-story house, and our most recent project was damage from woodpeckers along the roof line wood beams. We have always had a quick call back when we place our first call to request a project and a thorough investigation of the situation with options for repairs. We always feel like valued customers. The staff is on time, courteous, and some of the most skilled construction people I have ever seen. Not only is their work quality, but it actually looks better than the original! Thank goodness we have Green Bee Construction to turn to when we need work done on our 27-year-old, two story house.

I knew of Diego from church, and saw a comment on a friend's profile that he had an electrician. Bingo! Diego answered immediately and set up a time for just a couple of days from then. Yesterday , they came out and stayed with it( except for leaving to get another part) all day. They finally got it figured out around 5:30 pm. I am so grateful for their quick response and for getting the issue resolved! It was pretty stressful not having electricity in half the house. Diego is great! We will be having them come back in the future to replace all our old electrical outlets. I highly recommend Hernandez Handyman and construction services!!

This unfortunately was not the case with this larger project....paint, new flooring and backsplash and installation of medicine cabinets, lighting and toilet. I provided all materials which I purchased prior to the start of my project which ended up being the first week of January due to the holidays. My biggest problem with Diego was communication. I was never kept updated on delays to workers or himself showing up when promised and always felt that my job was put on the back burner for other customers with larger jobs. The tile man, Jeremy was amazing. He had my floor and backsplash done in a day and a half which included a backsplash in my guest bathroom and the work was beautiful. And then I waited and waited and waited. The painter, Jeff, not so good. He didn't take off any light covers, door pulls or tape anything off. Consequently I had a lot of cleanup as there was paint on many hinges, my shower surround next to the door moulding, the switch covers and door pulls and splatters on my new floor tile. Sloppy and unprofessional work. I talked to Diego and sent pictures on February 5th. He promised to come out in a week as he had become a new father but that's the last I've heard from him and it's the end of March. Diego is very friendly and fun to talk to and he himself does meticulous work. It's the other aspects of his business that definitely need work.

I kindly agreed, not wanting him to take on a job he couldn't do. Then he called me back and said yes he could do the job he once had doubts about. We agreed on a price and he got to work. In the middle of the job, after he had cut massive holes from my shop wall to install the windows, he called me outside to inform me that he could no longer do the work for the price that he agreed upon. Basically blackmailing me unless I paid him more to finish. I was completely shocked, and having never delt with someone so incompetent and shady. He ended up finishing the work but with terrible quality and detail. Nails and screws stabbing through from both sides of the wall, the worst caulking you've ever seen, he dismantled my electrical and left it stranded everywhere, just a piss poor job all the way around. He showed no remorse for the terrible job stating he wasn't going to make any money from it. I told him that's the contractors responsibility to bid the job properly and if not that's on him. He threw a fit like a child. Never wanted to show me receipts for supplies. I don't think he has very much experience. My guess is his dad does the same kind of work and he thought he would go out and replicate it on his own. He wasn't able to. And hopefully this review will keep something like this from happening to you. After he guaranteed there would be no leaks, the first rain I had leaks everywhere. 0/10 work. It was a 2 day job that I paid 2k in cash for. Never hire this clown. And if you don't believe a word of this review, just look at the pictures from the job.

It also turned into a rush job as a huge rainstorm was coming but he knocked it out just in time. He added plastic and more steel than I was expecting for the price he quoted. I got about 5 estimates, most were ridiculous, he was lowest and right in line with my expectations. When you get to know him you know you can completely trust him. I have another larger project coming up and wouldn't consider anyone else.
