They gave amazing food while making sure all my guests could eat over half of the food options, despite their various food allergies (we had 8+ food allergens to consider). We also hired a couple of their staff members to stay the entire evening to help with clean up, and they were beyond helpful. They packaged-up the food to easily take home, took care of the tablecloths we rented for them, and helped with many other miscellaneous tasks. Lastly, we also loved the bartenders that we hired through them. They were friendly, fun, and very efficient, and everyone loved the service and mixed drinks. If you need catering for a large event, definitely contact Friendship House. Would highly recommend for anyone in the Wamego/Manhattan area.

But once I bit into it I was disappointed. No flavor, none. Little flavor in the flaky crust but the meat and egg were flavorless. Even the sausage was plain. I don't even think they used salt or pepper. It was high quality coffee and my latte was decent. I really expected more from a place with such rave reviews. This was a lucky find for me on my way out of town! I was really craving a great cup of coffee to accompany me on my long drive from Wamego and decided to take a chance on this local roaster. I arrived around 8 am on a weekday and though it was a very busy place, the barista kept up with the traffic very well. I only had about a 5 minute wait for a Mocha, which is less time than I wait at my local Starbucks. This coffee was amazing, very flavorful, fresh, and the barista did a great job adding the mocha flavor to complement my drink. The atmosphere was friendly and fast paced, which is what I want on a busy weekday morning. I will definitely return to this little gem the next time I am in town! Used to live in Wamego and Paramour Coffee was my daily stop. Jim is a master roaster and a true artist of gourmet coffee-making. 3.5 years ago we moved to Loveland, Colorado. We have since had "coffee" in Loveland, Boulder, Fort Collins, Denver, Albuquerque, Moab, Portland, Oregon, and points between. None of it compares to Jim's wonderful coffee. Jim is a gourmet chef of coffee. I continue to order coffee every year online from Jim's line of exquisite coffees - especially for the holidays. Traveling through on I-70 ? I live about 15 miles away, but rarely have the need to go to Wamego. I drive out of my way to get coffee (both brewed and beans) at Paramour. Even the biggest coffee snob will love their home-roasted brew. All of their staff still knows the meaning of "customer service". This is a great place to stop in or just grab a cup on your way by. read more

I had just got off the river from floating for two days from Manhattan. I walked up to Paramour as I waited for my friends to show up, and let me tell you - that cold brew and breakfast sandwich literally saved my life. Paramour has great coffee, and friendly neighborhood atmosphere. They have some seating and provide tea and decaf to those so inclined. It's all about the coffee though, and first timers are encouraged to samples. I had the finest cup of espresso I've ever tasted here. read more

Honestly I sat on this review for a few days because of our otherwise positive associations, we have been getting donuts there since it opened and enjoyed the (previously) welcoming atmosphere, but this experience was bad enough to sour my wife and I on this establishment.
