Apparently they formed a hive somewhere in between the walls or whatever and we're borrowing into people's apartments. They had someone spray insect spray but the problem was ongoing for almost that whole summer. Also what ended up happening towards the end of our stay there was how they never salted the three little steps at the front door. Even with snow boots on, I slipped on black ice and my head landed on the concrete steps. I had to get multiple staples to mend the gash in my head. Thankfully their insurance worked with me but it's really stupid that all of that could have been prevented if maintenance salted the steps. The final straw there was how there was mold in our apartment. Of course they deny it and claim it to be "mildew". My question is why the hell is it growing on the walls and my shoes and in our closet walls?!? I had to throw out many pairs of shoes in the process because it was disgusting and you wanna know what they gave me for repayment after sending them a list of the prices of all of my shoes?? A little over $200. When my list I sent them showed I spent $700+ on about 15-20 pairs I tossed. The part that frustrated us the most was from the beginning we were calling to verify if they'd repay me the money for the mold on my shoes and they kept assuring us it would all be taken care of and then they pull this scumbag move. To make it even worse, they acted like they were doing us a favor by not penalizing us for breaking our lease early. YOURE NOT DOING A SINGLE THING TO CLEAN THE MOLD SO WHY ON EARTH WOULD WE STAY AND BREATHE THAT NASTY AIR?!? They also had someone inspect the apartment to see why there was mold and he said it's moisture coming from the crawl space underneath our apartment...... if you knew there was a crawl space under us this whole time.... then why wasn't proactive measures taken to prevent something like this from happening?!? It even grew on the backs of the dressers and end tables in our room and we had to throw all of that out and buy new ones. Only bright side of throwing out shoes and furniture meant there was less to put in the moving truck when we escaped from that horrid place. How they handled that was honestly a joke. Some people have better experiences living here but my fiancé and I sure as heck did not like it.

The rents are raised every year, yet nothing is done to improve the building. The building is over 20 years old at this point and it's showing it's age. The management seems to think they can compete with the recently built, local, luxury apartments and they can't. He advertises there is a gym but the equipment he speaks of is all the old equipment previous tenants no longer wanted and decided to leave behind. Also on apartments.com he mentioned that there are granite counter tops and washer/dryer in each unit. That is not true. One unit has granite counter tops. That unit is the unit the owner briefly lived in and made upgrades to. There is washer/dryers but they are on each floor not each unit.

Lived here for 5 years now, with old owners and new owners…read more There was an incident where I saw a landscaper grab a mentally challenged woman (around 25 years old but looks very young) and pull her into a bush and I think kiss her. I messaged the owner and they said they took care of it but I still see the same landscaper cutting our grass which makes me VERY uncomfortable. Can't say that I loved either but new owners really suck. I switched apartments when they first arrived and when complaining about some issues in the apartment the lady, Christine I think, actually said "then don't live here." I was like what?!!!! I've been here for 3 years prior to that and your going to suggest I leave? Maybe that's why so many other tenants have left. In my new building, I've already had 3 upstairs neighbors. Like the retention rate on here isn't great. Rent is too high and now their adding separate utilities which don't add up and seem suspicious. Overall...just don't live here.

Plain and simple management here sucks at updating tenants on anything that's happening. Yeah you might receive an email telling you that they're going to have breakfast at the leasing office... however they don't tell you when they're going to be having construction happening at the unit next to yours. Now it started out with hearing some banging and loud noises nothing too crazy at all. Then when morning between 8 and 8:30 am you and your family are woken up by the sound of jack hammers and other loud power tools. Now 8 am might not seem that early but when you work overnights and you just had started to fall asleep. It's pretty annoying trying to sleep with these paper thin walls vibrating and the sound of these really loud tools right outside your window. Then when you call the leasing office to find out why they would allow this to happen without updating anyone via email or phone call, nobody is even in the damn office yet. So that's cool you guys have nobody in the office before 9am but construction is allowed to start at 8am got it. After waiting an hour or so I finally called back and got ahold of someone who puts me on hold when I ask "why wasn't an email sent out or phone call made?" LOL she comes back and tells me that it's basically okay that they woke me up out of the sleep I barely got because quiet hours are now over. HAHAHA bet so now that I'm aware that you can make AS MUCH NOISE AS POSSIBLE AT 8AM BECAUSE QUITE HOURS ARE NOW OVER! Now on top of all the construction they're doing and all the noise they're making they are also allowed to park up to two work vehicles here and leave a cone blocking an open spot for them in the morning. I live in a building that shares a lot between 3 buildings that gets packed up pretty quickly and on top of they just added a brand new handicap spot near my end of the parking lot. With that new spot added it now makes 5 handicap spots near my end which already limits spots because we have 3 spots taken up every night from the construction crew. Fast forward a week later and my girlfriend and I head over to the fitness area at 9 am to get a workout in to start our beautiful morning off right. We're there for about an hour before we decided to head back to the apartment so I can make my tea and make her coffee so we can sit on the couch and enjoy our time together. Bahahaha that didn't go as planned because when we got here both the neighbors and our front door were boarded up and our walkway being destroyed with jack hammers and other tools. We both looked at each thinking how the heck are we getting in to the apartment now. We get out and walked up to the door and ask the guys working how are we getting into our apartment and he shrugs his shoulders and says you have to call them. To which I said na we gotta get in there. Some other guy comes to me and tells me that I have to go around back and go through the sliding door. I tell him that I do not have a key to the door because they never gave one to us when we moved in and I just never really cared because we barely ever use it anyways. They finally decided to take the wood off the door way to allow us to walk over the rubble that used to be our walkway. Once I'm inside the apartment I finally called the leasing office to complain that I just had to walk over the rubble and that I don't have a key to the back door that we'll now have to be using until the construction is done and the concrete has dried. The kind lady on the phone apologized and told me they'll get someone here to fix the locks it'll be 25-30 minutes till he's here with a new key and lock. Thankfully he got here in about 10 minutes and changed the lock in about 5. Funny enough after the guy leaves is when we received a text from the leasing office telling us we might expect some inconveniences with the construction going on. ITS 10 AM AND YALL ARE JUST NOW SPEAKING UP BECAUSE SOMEONE SPOKE UP!! Maybe it might be my background in hospitality but I for sure as heck know that if there were ever anything that would inconvenience my guest I'm letting them know ahead of time so they can make accommodations. I'm not waiting for someone to come to me and tell me they are being inconvenienced for the second time in a week to then send out some bs corporate looking apology and not even try to smooth things over

The maintenance team is also excellent. Anytime we've needed assistance, they've responded very quickly. A special shoutout to Carlos, who is always friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with. One thing that really sets Village Green apart is the communication. The team does a fantastic job keeping residents informed through weekly updates and emails, so you're always aware of what's happening in the community. Their communication is truly top-notch. They also regularly host events at the clubhouse, which helps create a great sense of community. We attended a Paint & Sip event yesterday, and it was fantastic! Laura Graff and Sri went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. There were delicious snacks, refreshing drinks, and they stayed on top of service throughout the event. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. The air conditioner in my bedroom is sealed over, parking is not good and they add on other fees. Heat and hot water is shared throughout your building so you will pay for what you're not using. Very disappointing.

STAY AWAY from Vantage Movers or Vantage Home Movers - and honestly away from any moving brokers, if you can. We had a medical emergency days before our out of state move. It was only 2 days after signing their Bill of Lading but also 2 days before the move which made it a gray area. Nevertheless, Vantage is a brokerage and they had not incurred any costs at the point that we requested a cancellation because of a medical emergency and need for surgery. Our entire move was cancelled, the leased apartment we were moving to was returned without penalty, school was deferred, airlines cancelled. But no way would Vantage Movers understand the situation. They refused to refund the ~$1150 deposit until I disputed their charge with my credit card and after that they were very eager to settle with me by offering partial discounts. They still very unfairly kept about $500 of the deposit for no reason. Avoid this broker service, despite the very nice sales guy Nick!
