The maintenance team is also excellent. Anytime we've needed assistance, they've responded very quickly. A special shoutout to Carlos, who is always friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with. One thing that really sets Village Green apart is the communication. The team does a fantastic job keeping residents informed through weekly updates and emails, so you're always aware of what's happening in the community. Their communication is truly top-notch. They also regularly host events at the clubhouse, which helps create a great sense of community. We attended a Paint & Sip event yesterday, and it was fantastic! Laura Graff and Sri went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. There were delicious snacks, refreshing drinks, and they stayed on top of service throughout the event. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we've had a wonderful experience living at Village Green and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, well-managed community with excellent staff and resident events. When they walk around, the creaking sounds like a 200 year old house and heavy feet sounds like they'll come through the ceiling. I have to wear earplugs in order to sleep. The air conditioner in my bedroom is sealed over, parking is not good and they add on other fees. Heat and hot water is shared throughout your building so you will pay for what you're not using. Very disappointing.

I messaged the owner and they said they took care of it but I still see the same landscaper cutting our grass which makes me VERY uncomfortable. Can't say that I loved either but new owners really suck. I switched apartments when they first arrived and when complaining about some issues in the apartment the lady, Christine I think, actually said "then don't live here." I was like what?!!!! I've been here for 3 years prior to that and your going to suggest I leave? Maybe that's why so many other tenants have left. In my new building, I've already had 3 upstairs neighbors. Like the retention rate on here isn't great. Rent is too high and now their adding separate utilities which don't add up and seem suspicious. Overall...just don't live here.

Also on apartments.com he mentioned that there are granite counter tops and washer/dryer in each unit. That is not true. One unit has granite counter tops. That unit is the unit the owner briefly lived in and made upgrades to. There is washer/dryers but they are on each floor not each unit.

Apparently they formed a hive somewhere in between the walls or whatever and we're borrowing into people's apartments. They had someone spray insect spray but the problem was ongoing for almost that whole summer. Also what ended up happening towards the end of our stay there was how they never salted the three little steps at the front door. Even with snow boots on, I slipped on black ice and my head landed on the concrete steps. I had to get multiple staples to mend the gash in my head. Thankfully their insurance worked with me but it's really stupid that all of that could have been prevented if maintenance salted the steps. The final straw there was how there was mold in our apartment. Of course they deny it and claim it to be "mildew". My question is why the hell is it growing on the walls and my shoes and in our closet walls?!? I had to throw out many pairs of shoes in the process because it was disgusting and you wanna know what they gave me for repayment after sending them a list of the prices of all of my shoes?? A little over $200. When my list I sent them showed I spent $700+ on about 15-20 pairs I tossed. The part that frustrated us the most was from the beginning we were calling to verify if they'd repay me the money for the mold on my shoes and they kept assuring us it would all be taken care of and then they pull this scumbag move. To make it even worse, they acted like they were doing us a favor by not penalizing us for breaking our lease early. YOURE NOT DOING A SINGLE THING TO CLEAN THE MOLD SO WHY ON EARTH WOULD WE STAY AND BREATHE THAT NASTY AIR?!? They also had someone inspect the apartment to see why there was mold and he said it's moisture coming from the crawl space underneath our apartment...... if you knew there was a crawl space under us this whole time.... then why wasn't proactive measures taken to prevent something like this from happening?!? It even grew on the backs of the dressers and end tables in our room and we had to throw all of that out and buy new ones. Only bright side of throwing out shoes and furniture meant there was less to put in the moving truck when we escaped from that horrid place. How they handled that was honestly a joke. Some people have better experiences living here but my fiancé and I sure as heck did not like it.
