There are several paths, some are more magical than others. The Dog path is also the main one, which is about 6 Km of a wonderful shaded trail so even during a blazing sun and a hot day like today we could enjoy the shade, cool forest smells and not break swat. PERFECT. The trail is a good dirt/gravel road that even a good stroll can pass there and is perfect for running. Bonus there are benches and garbage bins along the trails. So what can I do here except hiking ? There are Geocaches, disc-golf, swimming pool (was still closed), running, outdoor sport, soccer 9there is a field, fishing. Bottom line a wonderful well maintained park that is a great solution for a fun and short nature escape.

OMG! WHAT A FIND!…read moreTaking my usual evening bike ride, I stumbled upon this beautiful piece of land called Angel Forest. Probably the most enjoyable bike ride I've done ever since I moved away from Westmount and the magical Mont-Royal in downtown Montreal. Very rugged terrain with many sharp rocks protruding from the very dangerous path I took in mid darkness, FUN! There is also a huge fenced-in dog area where the animals socialize chained up and muzzled. And the dogs do too! (That's a joke) All I know is that at the end of my visit I came out of the forest passed an abandoned railway that ends up nowhere, surrounded by factories and the smell of white bread being manufactured. Where the heck am I? Kept riding all the way to the highway (40) where I saw the Linguini restaurant and thought wow! Let's eat! I will definitely be back to this wonderful area.

I never been to this park but I looked in that area and this park looked nice and seemed to have trails for our kids hiking levels. The kids loved this park, amazing trails, not that hard that go inside the woods or along the river. Lots of scenic stops, and lots of fun in general. What made us very happy is that this park ALLOWS DOGS (a big thing in Quebec). The park is also very popular as a fishing spot, or for mushroom pickers. The entry is about 5-7$ pp and there is free parking, you can see all the details and trails on the park site, they are also very friendly (and speak English) over the phone. Overall a well deserve 5 stars !
