Food was delicious, friendly service and pretty atmosphere. We had the mango salad and veggie egg rolls.

Friendly and prompt service and our dishes were divine. The mango salad is a perfect balance of sweet, tangy and hot. Apples, mangos, peppers and onions. Wonderfully fresh and flavorful. The Tom Yum soup which we ordered "hot" was also delicious. We love hot food and the level of "heat" for us was just right. The Emerald (green curry) I ordered with tofu and it was lovely to have some different veggies in the dish like zucchini. Delicious. And my date enjoyed the Thai Basil with chicken...again, a lovely balance of flavors and the house made hot pepper is a great addition. Absolutely stunning food. Everything is made with love from scratch. The most delicious curry I have ever had, the tofu was stunning, my companion has the green curry which was absolutely delicious. Doesn't serve alcohol but if you ask politely you might be able to bring your own wine. Service was impeccable, restaurant is lovely. I will eat here again whenever possible. read more

Not only are they authentic, but the flavours will tingle your tongue, and tantalize your taste buds. Got the lunch special, medium spicy. (Just the right amount of spice too!) It was a wonderful evening--they were hosting their first cultural night and we were just passing through Truro when we happened by this place. I'll recommend it to anyone and everyone. When we turned into the little motel parking lot we had no idea what to expect. The lights in the restaurant were very dim but the sign flashed open so we scurried in and what an absolute treat this was. Honestly, I find curry a hit or miss at most places and this was phenomenal. I got the extra spicy red chicken curry with extra spring rolls as an appetizer and both had so much flavour. The spring rolls were fresh and perfectly crunchy and the red curry was creamy and spicy. Delicious! The pad Thai was spicy and definitely had a nice flavour to it. We read the reviews prior to going and never expected the food to be THAT good. Our server was so kind and helpful - checking in but giving us our space and never rushed us. We stopped over for lunch at Parichats Thai restaurant this afternoon . This must be my 4 or 5th visit . We ordered lunch specials . The server a very pleasant lady who was very nice and cheerful . Restaurant wasn't busy at all surprisingly. More customers came later . I forgot to take pics of the food when it arrived but the food was A1 for awesome . We asked for spicy and it was perfect . We are frequent travellers to Bangkok and this was very very good food , authentic taste and quality food at cheap prices . Truro is lucky to have a restaurant of this caliber and the food quality is in par with any good fancy Thai restaurant in Vancouver . I would give her food 10 stars if I could . I am in the restaurant biz and her food beats any of the existing Thai restaurants in Halifax hands down . read more

Best Emerald Curry I've had at a Thai restaurant - EVER. I asked if the chef could make it without fish sauce to appease my vegetarian preferences. She made me a beautiful fresh sauce with more tofu than I've ever had in a dish. It was so freaking delicious I had it two days in a row. Lol I love Thai food and was shocked to find such such a gem in this little obscure spot attached to the Stonehouse Motel. Definitely on my 'Truro must stop in' list from now on. First- This is # 165, The Stonehouse Motel shares space with it. I went here based on prior Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. There is not any decor but the food is all homemade and tastes great and that is what counts. I had the curry with lemongrass and my son had vegetable fried rice. Both were fusion, chef has her own take on how to prep them but they both had full flavor. I had thier Thai iced tea which was nice and strong. read more

THE BEST!!!! Well, what a find! My wife and I had some time to kill on our way to Halifax airport, so we stopped in Truro. Without Yelp we would never have found this gem. It's located in a motel of all places. Parichat's husband greeted us warmly and his suggestions for food were spot on. The Thai iced tea (homemade, like everything else), was refreshing and delicious. We had a curry dish with incredible flavour - infused with lemon grass and just the right spice. The noodle dish we had was awesome as well, beautiful flavour of Thai basil, perfect tofu and noodles. Our appetizer dumplings were served with a delicious homemade sauce. Our server was pleasant, food came quickly and was just the right temperature. We were too full to try the desserts. As West coast Asian food lovers we appreciated the excellence in this small town. Very reasonable prices. If you're in Truro you MUST stop here. read more

What an incredible find! We were simply driving through and found it listed on yelp. Tried three different dishes and they were all incredible! Massaman curry. Emerald curry. Thai basil stir fry.
