I agree with the previous reviewer. Great venue but needs new management. The two stars is an…read moreaverage of a 5 for the venue and 0-1 for the ownership/coordinator. I had my wedding here over Memorial Day weekend and the proximity of the venue to the Marriott was great. Everything was fine until the night of the wedding when a random male was at the wedding talking to my guests and taking pictures. He identified himself as the co-owner which I had no way of verifying. When I talked to the coordinator she said she had told me he would be there and he was in fact a co-owner. I had no recollection of this, only being told her daughter would be there to help prior to. I felt highly uncomfortable having someone I did not know, who introduced them self to me at my wedding, talking to my guests and taking photos of my guests and I without my permission. He was upset when asked to leave and made some accusations of my father in law which were unwarranted.

This place seriously upsets me. A good friend of mine had her wedding reception here recently and…read moreit was a major disappointment. The actual venue is nice for a small wedding and has parts of a pre-existing bank, which was really cool. I really feel all the issues were related to the coordinator. She was in charge of the decor, flowers & bouquets, and flow of the night. The flowers were the totally not what the bride picked (like hot pink instead of plum) and most were wilted. The bride is an awesome chick and shrugged it off.. But she was definitely disappointed. Then we get to the reception and their sound system doesn't work for TWO HOURS. The coordinator was griping to guests about how she "wanted to leave early to feed her horses" and was rudely shushing people over the mic to get the guests to quiet down to make up for the quiet music. Everyone was appalled. The bride and groom attempted their "first dance" three times but had to stop each time because the music was faint or nonexistent. A sound tech guy showed up a long time after and the rest of the night went very smoothly. Everyone had a blast and the coordinator was MIA. Bottom line- I would consider referring this venue to a friend if it was under different management.

She was hired to assure things ran smoothly. Her and her snippy attitude was what created any issues within our wedding party. She talked back to us, she was demeaning to us and our pastor. She rudely started the wedding when we were told we had 10 more minutes and our bride needed literally ONE minute to finish a curl! She wouldn't let out processional walk in, in the order she had made them practice twice the night before. Tammy snapped at us when we said something about it. She was putting her other old decorations up DURING the wedding. Her brother (the DJ) continued to play music for several minutes while the bride and father were awkwardly standing at the alter. He did not announce anything until we asked continuously throughout the entire night, even though she assured us he had a script. Our guests made comments and later told us that the announcements were muffled and could not be understood. We payed way too much for the way we were treated. The only good thing was that the venue was pretty, even though there were cobwebs everywhere including the brides room!
