Open early, I rolled in at just after 6am and watched this place slowly start to fill with students and others, some of whom were here for nearly as long as I was. Once it got full, I opted to pack up and let a new customer have my space. A nice four-top in the corner was my office today. A nearby outlet allowed me to keep my electronics charged and the wifi worked well. The place isn't quiet but that suited me fine as there were two Zoom calls that were great. My large drip coffee was excellent and tasty. A good dose of caffeine to start my day and sip at for an hour or two. This was a great spot for working on laptop. I would return for sure. Paris Coffee is a gem! The Mexican Mocha is my go-to drink. I get one every time I'm in town. The chicken salad sandwich croissant is a great lunch option. The service is some of the best in town. What a nice way to start the day! This was a bit of a travel for us but we heard it was worth the drive. And Paris Coffee Co. did not disappoint! The store is cute, clean, and eclectic. The workers were sweet and gave recommendations. Several customers around in the area parroted with agreement or more recommendations. I had an iced white chocolate mocha and mom had an Americano. We also tried a scone, double chocolate muffin, and sausage egg taquito. Everything was delicious. The restrooms were clean as well as the rest of the store. Passable Java fix in Paris. The service is excellent and drip and espresso are both good. The dining area is clean and so is the bathroom, though out of soup on two visits. Mocha was a bit bitter, but that may have been a training thing. Limited food options, but really good cookies. Slammed on Saturday morning. You will not be getting a seat. Get your caffeine fix to go. Drive through usually full anytime I have been there. A good option for espresso based drinks in Paris. You can get drip coffee other places, but this spot can make your coffee how you want it if you have advanced beyond Folgers or gas station drip. read more

Unfortunately this review isn't what I'd like to leave but hopefully it will bring attention to how some customers are treated. I'm very disappointed in the female staff member that works early mornings at the hospital location. Had she been as friendly with my sister and I as she was with the white male that ordered before us my review would be totally different. We were treated as if we were wasting her time by making a special coffee purchase that was listed on their board. We did not ask for anything new. We ordered the "Witches Brew" which could have been a lot better. It tasted more like warm milk with half a pump of hazelnut and half espresso although she rudely told my sister it already had espresso when she asked for an extra shot. We drink specialty coffees daily and Paris Coffee was our fist and will be the last. Thank goodness there are other great options here in Paris!We are visitors but thanks to her we know where not to go. Wake up people... it's 2022! Your actions and attitudes matter when you're serving the public(ordinary people in general; the community). I strongly suggest someone in management get her trained or find someone else because the next "other than white" customer may not be as polite as we were. Super adorable cafe, stopped for coffee before we got back on the road and i'm so happy we did. The cafe has beautiful lighting and lots of seating. It's so comfortable and homelike inside. I stopped here on my way back to Dallas. This little gem was the perfect stop for a mid day pick me up. We entered in the coffee shop and were immediately captured by the wonderful scent of coffee beans and assorted teas. I ordered a chai tea because like why not?! My husband and I just ate there today. We stop here periodically when we come in town and definitely have had better experiences before. He was so .... disappointed with his sandwich and said he'd give it a 1. He ordered Ham and Swiss on Sourdough with mustard and when he got it he said all he could taste was the mustard. Additionally, he said the sourdough bread was very dry and it actually broke in half while he was trying to eat it because the bread was so dry. He also noted there was NO cheese on there and barely any ham, but there was certainly plenty of mustard. My sandwich was much better, but I got Turkey (there appeared to be more meat on my sandwich) and Swiss on wheat. I did ask for light mayonnaise and definitely thought there was more mayo than should be, but at least my sandwich tasted good. We've ordered Thru the window before, but this time was not a positive experience. I got the impression the person at the window thought I was dumb, but let's make this fact clear, I've had over 7,000 students in my career and I'm currently in Sales, working with a variety of customers and having to facilitate proper customer service as part of my job. We did ask her what was on the Turkey Club and then she explained it, however, when we asked her what was on the other Turkey Sandwich they served, she then cited the same ingredients as theTurkey Club. We tried to ask again, explaining it was not the Turkey Club, but the other Turkey Sandwich and she took her hand, citing each ingredient (for the Turkey Club again,) slowed down her voice, and pointed to each finger one at a time as she told us the ingredients. My husband then asked her what kind of breads she had and I just ordered a Smoked Turkey Sandwich, NOT the Turkey club. We just left the Dairy Queen in Powderly after our experience there, where we got something small, and the person who waited on us was fabulous. She had a smile on her face and wasn't smirky with us at all. Overall, it was not a positive experience and my husband actually said he's had better sandwiches from stations where the sandwiches came in a cellophane wrapper. I know this sandwich shop can do better than this and if we had not ordered it to go, I would have encouraged my husband to take it back. read more
