On the day of the move, two big friendly guys showed up promptly, and shifted all our stuff rather quickly. Their lead mover (wish I could remember his name), obviously sensed my distress and went out of his way to make sure I had a great experience. Not a scratch or dent on my furniture and more than anything, the sense of relief I felt for hiring an excellent moving company made the money well worth it. They have "lost" my property (worth 600gbp), and they delivered me stuff from other customers which they refuse to return to the owners. Furthermore they turned up on the removal day, last minute deciding to only move half of my stuff despite clear agreements and they moved the rest only a week later so I had to rent my flat a week longer (worth 400gbp). They decided to charge me double for storage despite clear agreements but they knew I had no alternative because I had moved abroad (200gbp more per month).
